It's better to use it only in extraordinary situations and to pay off debt asap
I've got two. We use them and actually get cash back from them.
You can get into a downward spiral of debt with credit because you have to use it when you don't have money and interest piles up.
I have only debit card, but I'm against cards. Cash is best :)
