I've noticed they tend to be hypocrites. Like they're all about law and order until they want to bash blacks and liberals. And they believe in freedom of speech until you say something they don't like.

Yeah. They rely on illusion, projection, and make-believe to stay in power because they are well aware no one would vote for "more tax cuts for the rich" on its own. And illusions dont have to be consistent because they aren't real.

we are not an ideological monolyth if that is what you are saying, and hypocrisy is not bound to any particular ideology but asside from sometimes changing my mind on certain issues if I find that the facts don't support it, I do stay consistent with my believes

Nope, in general they seem fairly consistent compared to most bents.

The most consistent are of course, people who hold consistency as a priority, usually classical liberals and libertarians.
