Why are black American women so sassy?

Obviously a troll question, but I'll bite.
I'm perceived as "sassy" by a few people at work. They pick and say I'm super sweet but low key have "attitude".
The ones that say that though are the rude ones who get surprised when I refuse to put up with their nonsense or call them out.
They say rude and insensitive things to other people. They try to start rumors. And they try to get out of work.
I'm a confrontational person and it's sad that people try to turn it into a negative character trait when people try to educate others and refuse to let people insult or walk all over them.

@GaGirls No. It's the fact that they say rude things and they are surprised when someone confronts them about it. Being confrontational and not letting someone walk over you = sassy in their book.

Oh I see what you are saying. You're saying you are doing it in the proper manner but still it is seen a sassy because that don't own their flaws and mistakes. They play victim so they don't have to own their own mistakes. Must be that. The only other thing I can think of is if someone calls them out with a tone of voice they didn't like or if it was an uninvited opinion; or maybe an over use in the personal pronoun. Maybe you can test things and write a book about it for managers on how to confront employees. Are your co-worker white?

There is a term for those black women. They are called ratchet. Meaning completely devoid of any good manner or humanity. Only thing she cares about is her nails, and her hair wigs and feeding her self till she can take up two boots chairs. Of and dont dare argue with her because you would rather die than have her send your 10 little kids after you.

some are, met quite a few. It's personality and training from their mommas and pappas. I always thought it was underlying saddness based upon... disrespect. Some girls in my H. S. had that vibe.

Not all of them but a huge percentage are. Presumably it's because the majority of black American families today are led by women. Women who are rewarded for acting tough like some kind of dyke truck driver.

You'll actually find a huge variance in personalities. Most of the women I've known with really great personalities were black (none of them single, unsurprisingly).

I have traveled to many different states and cities from NY to California - from large cities like NYC , Miami , Houston, LA , San Francisco , and many small towns in between. My question is based on my observations of black women across the country and over the years.
