I have another home and several income properties in the Philippines. That would be my first choice. However, the Philippines is a shitty nation to be a part of nowadays.
Beautiful & organized Japan is my second choice since I also have business & real estate investments there but the language barrier is still a deterrent. I should have to brush up on my Nippon since I should be the one adjusting to my Japanese hosts.
I have other options but I never really saw myself living there. Vacationing, yes, that's all.
Finland.
I hear everything is expensive and the language is very difficult for a native English speaker but... I don't care.
Agree on the language thing
I've been learning it for about two months now and I can't say anything helpful lol
Time was I'd've said Ireland- I know something of the culture, I speak both the languages (if awkwardly), and I've even got some family back there- but given their insane response to the Covid crisis, I doubt I'd last too long out there. Now... now I don't know. Belize, maybe. My Spanish sucks, but they speak English there, too. And they're such a small country that no one really cares about them; that could very much prove to be an advantage in the coming troubles.
I would try to make it to Switzerland
YEEEEEEEEESSSS !!! Same here :D

At one time, I thought that Australia or New Zealand would be the obvious destination for an English speaking conservative but that thought has evaporated. I don't truly know where I would go now.
My husband and I have had this discussion more times than I can count. We love living in the U. S. and can't think of any other country we'd rather live in. We've both traveled internationally and both of us have lived in other countries. Maybe it's pour age, but neither of us even want to take a vacation outside the U. S. anymore. The world has gone crazy.
You live in the states and you call the world crazy!!! Sure 🤷♂️ what do i know
It's crazy here too, that's why we have the talk, "Where else can we go?" So far, we still prefer the U. S.
I've considered England, Scotland and Ireland because it's close and I already speak English. Second to that would be relocating to another nordic country.
Eller kom till Sverige :D. Nah! Just kidding :P
In UK.
My partner had friends in Paris, Germany, Spain, Family in America and Peru, we could feasibly go any of those with the kids. I'd be concerned about language barriers and finding work, but I'd do my best to adapt
My dad moved to Sweden at age of 55 he learned swedish and worked as an electric engineer for few years, then as a physica teacher for 3 years. It's fun to learn other languages
I started to learn some Spanish (OH is native Spanish speaker and kids being raised bilingual). I don't find it that easy to stick with learning it, was using duolingo app but fell out of practice a long time ago
Korea. Anywhere in Asia really. They're country is very advanced, of course they do have their flaws but anywhere is better than the US.
Is that so! Interesting.
Ideally somewhere near an overseas friend "hint hint" or New Zealand... Possibly
Awwwww 🥰. You are welcome any time dear. I want to visit New Zealand too, i have interest in the Maori culture.
Australia. It's essentially the United States only less crowded.
It depends on where in Australia you wanna live, i guess
Tropical region in developed country. Northern Australia maybe. I dislike snow and cold.
I come a very warm country and moved to Sweden (cold snowy winter) i like balanced weather. I know Poland has a nice weather feom spring to autumn.
Oh dear! No one want to live there either 🤣. Try Helsingborg or Halmstad, they are wonderful, central and west of Sweden is pretty nice.
The mountains, I'd just hide out and make my own little country away from civilization.
I feel you. I kind of need to do the same.
I don't want to leave the US but if I had to choose somewhere then maybe Singapore.
How come Singapore?
Where ate you from originally?
I'm thinking about Finland, Sweden and Croatia because I like their culture and language but also the landscapes and history interest me. Poland and Hungary also but I don't know if the latter three are easy to get a good job 😂
New Zealand, Norway or Ireland could also be an option for me.
But I think Sweden and Finland would be the most likely for me.
I would go to Mexico or the Bahamas or something. I like the beach.
Who doesn't like the beach 🌞⛱️
Canada seems chill. It’s close by, plus I already know the language.
If I was forced to leave, someone would probably decide for me. If I had the choice, it would be either Australia, Scotland or Sweden.
I am from Turkey we will have an election in 2023.
If erdogan gets elected again , I will move to US.
If someone else gets elected I will stay here. Turket might not be the richest country in this world but its my home afterall.
Used to be New Zealand, Australia, bit now I'm thinking Germany/Austria/Switzerland. I do like the mountains.
Either Finland where I have relatives or Denmark which is basically the same country as mine, Sweden, but more sensible politically speaking.
#1: France
#2: New Zealand
#3: Pitcairn Island
I actually have two homes in different countries outside my birth country.
I use agencies to lease them out, and tend to holiday in them some years.
Switzerland Norway Sweden when its finished Akon City Japan would be cool too
Hahha Colombia. Where I am now. Hahahha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea3DDCTbgo0Another English-speaking country that would accept me. But I’m a citizen so it’s not going to happen.
Mexico cause i can easily come back over the border with a new identity
I don't know depends on the circumstances. And what the status is in the rest of the world.
Is the moon an option?
There is no limits here. To the Moon! And beyond 🚀
If the language barrier isn't an issue, Japan, otherwise England.
I know someone who lives in Japan. I guess I'll be there.
I'd stand my ground. Running away from problems is a wimps way of facing life
No one said anything about running away from any problems.
Yea I know, I'm just sayin... but why would anyone feel forced to do anything in the first place if there isn't a problem to begin with?
Well! I had, so i moved to Sweden. Does Saddam Hussein name ring a bell? Yepp 😁
You ran away from a guy who was hiding in a hole when they captured him? Man, you need to grow some balls
Sure, thanks for the tip man.
I was forced to leave New Zealand and came to the USA 🇺🇸
Just in November
You mean if I had the opportunity to leave this shit hole? France, Iceland, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, or Spain.
Norway... I love their culture ❣
It's very nice there, all Scandinavian countries has pretty rich culture
Yeah, but I like Norway more because of that TV series Skam. Norwegian are awkward people and I am awkward as well.
You think Norwegian people are awkward? Wait until you meet us the Swedes 🤣. Skam means (disgrace) same in Swedish.
Lol... 😆 why is that? I know that Norwegian people don't greet each other in public because they value personal space a lot.
Why is that? I can't explain our little sister. They learned that feom us and we do it best. When you have the chance to visit, visit both and you will see who is more awkward
@Neosporin racist as a whole nation? Or like 30% of them?
@Neosporin not sure about all that, all countries in the world have some racism. I am from Iraq, came to Sweden as a refuge. In Iraq, we hated (our community) the jordanians, saudians, persians (duh), syrians and turks and all other countries round us 🤷♂️. Sweden and Norway are very similar and in my case, Sweden gave me more than my own home country did. Thwy have good amount of racist people here and frankly i don't blame them. The same goes for Norway. Not trying to change your mind but that ia just a fact, all countries has racism
I don’t care for your opinion sorry also I think Persians are awesome they have a lot of culture and history unlike Arabs that are just about Sunni Islam. Norway has no economic opportunities it’s not good for immigrants say what you want but it’s not a very open minded country and community compared to even Sweden.
@Neosporin there is no need to care for my opinion. No one is denying the Persian culture. I am fascinated about peoples takes in general, i like to know that's all
