If your SO had to move to another country, what would you do?

What would you do if your SO got a job offer or something and had to move far away? Would you go with them? Live apart? End relationship?

End it. Show me a man who drops everything for the sake of a woman, and I'll show you a man who is a fool. I'm not going to give up on my own dreams and (dream) career to follow a woman around the globe. As the leader and main provider within my relationship, it is my woman who joins me in the journey when I go abroad as I build my empire that would highly benefit her as well. And let's be frank here, women won't respect you when you drop everything just so you can be with her. They respect the man who has his own ambitions and battles. And they want to conform to that man's lifestyle in order to have a place in his life.  Besides, long distance relationships are an absolute miserable way to be in love and there is no way in hell I'm going to try it again as I did in my early teens. For most people, they never work out anyway.

If my husband had to move because he was in the military, that would be one thing. Since he's not, it would all depend on which country. Most likely I would ask him to sign the divorce papers and give him a kiss goodbye. I'm not going and I'm not waiting. I know it sounds mean, but I'm not 25 anymore.

I don't know, I really don't want to leave my family behind. I lije being able to visit my mom when I can. I already lost my dad so I want to be near to my brother, nephew and mother in case something should happen to them.

I’m single currently but if we had a strong relationship and I saw a future with him I would try to go with him. Provided I have the means and flexibility to do so. If not I would either consider a LDR or ending the relationship so we can both have a chance to be happy

that is the limitation of marriage.

when you are married, you need to make decision as a couple rather than by yourself. what you want may not align with what your spouse wants. i would say its one of the cons of marriage.

Well I'm married to them so I guess I'm packing my bags and going with. I'd hope that he and I would have discussed the situation prior to him applying for the job so it wouldn't come as a surprise.

If I was married and younger than my late 20s, I would certainly go with him. It doesn't matter much where we live because one country is about as good as another.
