Rhodes will be in prison for the rest of his life because whatever judge does the sentencing is going to take a hard line and make the sentences be served consecutively meaning once one sentence ends, the next one begins. So Rhodes is looking at 86 years; 4 counts at 20 years each and 1 count at 6 years. He will never be free again unless he gets a Presidential pardon which would be extremely controversial even if Trump was President again and was to do it.

Finally, there is some evidence of a propensity towards violence in Defendant’s personal relationships.

On balance, the evidence in the record overall indicates Defendant’s release could endanger the safety and wellbeing of others. This factor weighs in favor of detention.

IV. CONCLUSION

For the reasons stated herein, the Government’s Motion for detention is GRANTED. ...

I read through the complete DOJ list a few days ago. There are quite a few who face far more than “glorified trespassing.” Interesting enough, one was assigned to my ARNGUS battalion until he came up positive on a random drug test and was forced out with bad paper in 2019. One of these days someone needs to write a book and title it Conspiracy of Clowns. Not since the Nancy Kerrigan kneecap incident before my time has there been this pathetic of a conspiracy.
