1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It isn't even 1%. It is closer to only 54,000 covid deaths in the USA over a two year period. Less than the regular flu. 94% of deaths listed as covid were actually from other causes such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc. according to the CDC's own statistics.
So if there was 900,000 deaths, only 54,000 of them would have actually been from covid.
And 21,700 + deaths were from the vaccines according to VAERS. Plus 170,000 + adverse effects.
The lockdowns were all about money and power. Lock down small businesses that often were run by conservatives and they allowed large chain businesses stay open that donated to democrats' campaigns. It is obvious and can all be looked up, but people are ignorant and deny statistics and truth.
Think about this: schools locked down, but Newsom's kids went to school normally with no restrictions. Celebrities and politicians didn't need to wear masks,, but the workers there with them did. They closed down GameStop and BestBuy, but left Walmart open. Closed down churches, but left open bars.
It is obvious, but democrats hate the truth. They hate all normal logical people.
And the only people I know IRL that got very ill or died were vaccinated. the unvaccinated have all been just fine. And somehow, taking other vaccines, but not the experimental and intentionally harmful covid vaccine makes someone an "anti-vaxxer" in democrats opinion. They are hypocritical and dishonest.00 Reply

+1 yI think if people didn’t soak up all the fear porn from the media and supposed “experts” they’d be horrified at the long term effects of lockdownerism. The older most vulnerable are deteriorating at a dramatic rate, succumbing to both Covid, other diseases and depression, the newest generation is devolving with decreased social skills and IQ and everyone else is suffering from psychosis, anxiety, depression and suicide.
Congratulations, everyone who supported the lockdowns and mandates have sacrificed everyone for nothing.00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 ywell look at California vs Texas or New York vs Florida
California 7.704 million sick 78.5 thousand dead (as of current data) hard lock downs restrictions and mandates. population 39 million
Texas 6.1 million sick 77 thousand dead 2 week lock down early covid light on mandates and restrictions. 29 million population
New York. 4.7 million sick 64 thousand dead. sever lock downs and mandates (current) 19 million population
Florida 5.4 million sick 64 thousand dead. virtually no restrictions or mandates. 18 million population.
4 states with comparable populations 4 very different approaches to this pandemic virtually the exact same results. you see it across the USA you see it across the world and that is why so many people are resisting it because observable reality is not comporting to the hysteria the media the talking heads and elites are screeching about.

Only a narcissistic person can look at over 5 and a half MILLION people being dead to a virus that we could have had a better handle on with vaccinations and temporary restrictions for a few weeks and complain about it being too much.
We have lost 883k in the US alone. More than the Civil War, every single school shooting in US History and 9/11 combined and yet we consider those all tragedies and called for preventative measures to avoid them happening in some of those cases.30 Reply

All the numbers are cooked to shit, anyone who takes 5 fucking minutes to research how the numbers were manipulated around covid cases and deaths knows that lockdowns were completely unnecessary and actually RAISED all causes mortality, particularly suicide and OD. Not to mention the lasting economic impacts...
if you think that lockdowns were necessary I invite you to move to germany and become a nazi because that’s what you are you fucking scared little bitch control freak fuckhead TYRANT! You don’t get to “lock people down” nobody has that power and anyone who claims to is a NAZI COMMUNIST TYRANT FUCKHEAD10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yOne percent is pretty high I think. And there really aren't that many lock downs any longer. Perhaps a few here and there. There are some restrictions on large gatherings but there are alternatives to that anyway.
I overheard a guy in a restaurant the other day saying that he was refusing to get vaccinated for a disease that only has a 1% death rate. I think 1% is high, but even if you don't feel that way, consider the suffering of those who got it and are long haulers. Or those who recovered but were very ill for 2 or 3 weeks.00 Reply
+1 yWhere it’s only 1% or 0.5 % etc, would this be the same if the US was looking at 800,000 people killed in the first 2 years of a war?
What would the public opinion be?
It’s no small change 883,000 people.30 Reply- 454 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 y1% is a lot. I think like 1 in 10 people who get it end up with long covid. Which can be anything from fatigue to not being able to taste anything, to breathlessness and needing breathing therapy.
Covid causes significant damage and scaring to lungs, you don't just get over that shit.
Not to mention no country has the resources to just let covid happen. People will still need hospital care.20 Reply Yes, I have thought that from the beginning... covid is blown way out of proportion and has been since day one... it is all part of an Agenda and the ones that are rolling the Agenda out are the same folks that control what the mainstream media feed us all, you all will see this some day... let's just hope that it's before they're Agenda is complete because that will be the end of the road for A LOT of people.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yIt's surprising how few people know why the restrictions and lockdowns have been there.
It's so the hospitals won't get overthrown with patients. If there are too many that need to go to the hospital, the hospitals will be too pressed to take care of the rest of their patients and that will lead to cracks in the health system.10 ReplyOf course. Anyone who thinks cutting off your hands to prevent them from getting dirty has problems. That’s the position the government and CDC have decided to take. Lockdowns and mandates have severe mental and emotional consequences. Not to mention how it destroys education and economy. It’s not worth it.

+1 yI think it was a good idea prior to the vaccines but we're at a point now where we need to learn to live with it. Especially now with vaccines and more knowledge of the disease we can eventually get to a point where it is more like a flu.
So a lockdown in the beginning made sense but now I don't think it would be a good idea to continue anymore.00 Reply- 1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yThat’s still a lot of deaths for one.
second the lockdowns were so hospitals didn’t get overfilled, which they did because people are inconsiderate.10 Reply - 545 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yProbably only 1% BECAUSE of lockdown. Get rid of lockdown and watch them get much worse.
Follow UK lead and get vaxed.20 Reply 4.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. When have we actually been locked down? Except for going out to a restaurant for meals my life hasn't changed much at all. I can still climb in my truck and drive across the country to see my sister or a friend.

No, it wasn't too much, nor is expecting people to get vaccinated or wear masks.20 Reply- 884 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yNot all about death rate. Its about hospitalisations and whether it is overwhelming the health system. As long as that is under control then a lockdown isn't needed

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yYes. But even know it’s hard to understand what is the right thing to do. Right now it’s a waste of time for sure. But still, 1% is a lot of people who’s to say you’re not that roll of the dice. Don’t you remember dead bodies being shoved in ditches in New York like they’re worth nothing?
00 Reply27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. it is more like.006 percent. And yes the lockdowns are too much. More kids died from suicide than from Covid.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yDefinitely not. Look around the world. The United States is probably treating this epidemic the least seriously. And it shows in our transmission rates. When you come right down to it the " mandates" have been quite lenient.
