Personally I’d like to go back to the 90’s since I was born in 99 and would like to see what the rest of that decade was like as an adult.

In the 90s it was very fun to be a kid, teen, and adult. Great family TV shows, Malls & Movie theaters were the hang out spots, house parties, concerts, Blockbuster, Hollywood video, and Toys R Us. Music: 2pac, Notorious Big, and etc (Hip hop Golden age). Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston, and etc (Great Legends). Video games: Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Playstation and Sega Saturn. NBA: The Chicago Bulls Dynasty team and 1992 Dream Team. NFL: Dallas Cowboys Dynasty, 49ers, Buffalo Bills Four Straight Superbowl, Dan Marino Miami Dolphins, Deion Sanders, Troy Aikman, Jerry Rice, Steve Young. It was very fun in the 90s Lol
Wow, that was a difficult question to answer to. 90's indeed were fun (95 kid here), but the clothes/hairstyles were awful, in my opinion. 2010's were also fun, but those years were very recent. My personal choice would be 2000's. Technology was developed so rapidly during that decade and some awesome songs/films were made. Fashion was pretty normal (except EMO's in 2007-2008) and in general the world's economy was stable. Also, one could partly experience life both without and with internet. So, yeah I would like to go back to 2000s!
by the way, awesome selection of pictures! True nostalgia!
@anniisa97 Oh yeah, of course I didn't. I mostly knew 90s through tv-series and by looking at old photos/videos from that time :)
2000s for me! from what i've seen, it's just a very "nostalgic" period lol. I don't know how to describe it. whenever i look at what was going on during that time, i just feel so nostalgic and warm inside and it just feels comfortable and comforting, and i srsly wish i could experience what it'd be like to live back then...
People always tell me about the good old days. How things were simpler and life was more enjoyable. I asked my grandfather about that and he said, "The only good thing about the good old days is that they are gone!"

I picked the 2000s because you said it had to be a two-way trip. But I actually wanted to have been born in an older decade and grow up so by the time I was born in this life (I was born in 1991 myself, so I *kind of* remember the 90s decade but not a hell lot), I by that time I'd want to be a young adult at least.
Every aspect of life and society seemed so great back then and everything today has been infected with crap, and it can't be stopped or reversed unless there is a major global revolutionary war. We may not actually have any future at all and at most the only way out is if we went extinct. What's the point?
The further back you go the less bs. Things weren't perfect but there were fewer do-gooders trying to force other people to be "good" or else. Now we have a lot of fake nice people. If people are forced to be nice/good it's not a virtue.
Back in the day people could express what they really thought and even if you disagreed with them you could still feel like you respected each other as people. I don't think that exists anymore, for the most part.
The '90's, no question. Not only do I have the best lottery numbers memorized for it (I make a point of knowing each year's biggest lottery jackpot, and memorizing the winning numbers for the week BEFORE it, specifically on the off chance I go back in time), but it was a time where the dominant emotion of the zeitgeist wasn't fear.
The best time in my personal life was 2004 to 2008. 2009 (thanks to the housing crisis and jobs being scarce) is actually when things started to suck really badly. And the entire 2010s sucked, so really, upon thinking about it, things were never better beyond 2008.
With this pandemic thing going on I feel so bad for our young kids are teenagers other things that they're missing out on that makes you grow in life that makes you become Who You Are and they're stuck at home I think it's wrong I think it's is bad I wish every kid did go back in the 80s in the 90s and then that lifestyle the best music the open is the freedom of being yourself I had the best time to get the best things craziest things and explored life I would never ever change it for anything
Why would I go back? To invest money in my name? Because I lived those centuries so I don't think there is anything I want to relive. So putting money into apple and Google back then and tell the young me to leave the money alone. So it's there when I return.
Early 1990s where glam rock was still popular. I love listening to Mariah Carey and Wilson Philips! Bands like Firehouse and Steelhart are also one of my favorite.
That was also the time pop music, hip hop, songs with cussing were starting to be famous. Singers like En Vogue and EMF.
I was born in 1997 though, but I love those days wherein you use pagers to text back then! There was no such thing as internet that time.
Out of those 3?
Are you kidding me?
NONE OF THEM, of course!
Not a single fucking one. They started out badly and only got worse.
2000s. Literally the best time of my life, I can't remember the 90s, and I'm sure I would be tempted to experience it if given the chance but if the 2000s are also on offer I'm picking the 2000s.
The `90's: at least I was getting regular pussy and was still in the band and living in MY house, where I belong, now!! And, I'd be able to warn mom & dad about the bullshit their fucking daughters were gonna pull in 15 years!!
For me, a lot farther back, any time before the civil war.
I want to live like this

Back to the late 70's for me even give its bad bits it was still better than now, and I'd revisit some of the training I did and add a few more courses/qualifications.
@bolverk I loved the bell bottom jeans. My girlfriends and I would shop for them at the Navy Army Surplus store. I even purchased some white hip hugger Navy hip hugger jeans with all the white buttons on them. Then we would stock up on the navy blue ones too. Those weren't flared out as much as the ones you bought at the regular store. My memories of the late 60's hippie days and my memories of the 70's were the greatest and most fun part of my life. Rock-'n'-roll forever ✌️
Arggggh - I'm fucked.
Where are the 60's? :D
If I must... the 90's were least shitty out of your given choices.
But didn’t the 90’s have gays and aids and orgies and stuff like that?
@WhiteBoyChill... sure. But you could still could call a faggot a faggot.
Ah ok. So that stuff still wasn't popular then
Out of these choices, the 90's for sure. Born in 93. But if I could personally choose the 70's. See how my parents grew up.
1990s... the world was a calmer, more peaceful place then, and you didn't have to worry about pandemics,.
@anniisa97 I don't have to. The minorities in my town were better off then than they are now.
@anniisa97 I lived in a very integrated middle-class neighborhood... several minorities lived in it, including some very good friends.
Yeah you still can't speak for them though. You don't know their life like they do, or know what its like to be a minority. Period. Anyway I wasn't meant to lecture you, but my point still stands.
I was just going to say that it wasn't more peaceful if you were gay/trans/ or an ethnic minority.
@anniisa97 How do you know that? From your profile age, you weren't born yet. Wouldn't it make sense to listen to someone who lived in the 1990s (like me)?
Um no.. you weren't the only person in the world who experienced the 90s mate. I have people in my life that were there...
I'm saying you don't get to speak for any minority group, let alone your friends. They may have had a good life in the 90s, but I'm not just talking about them though, so I'm not sure why this is focused on people you know unless you think you know every ethnic minority in the world from those few people? I don't know what you're getting at here.
I know because I grew up in the 2000s, and I dealt with some difficulties growing up. My family had it worse though, it was so normal for them to be called a racial slur if they were out and they would ignore it because it was just that common in the 90s. Point is, dont be acting like it was some wonderful time where problems enver existed, thats delusional
@anniisa97 I never said the 90s were perfect. Every time frame is imperfect. The question asked about 3 decades, and I chose the one that, IMHO, was the best. In other words, I answered the question, and gave a reason why I chose it.
A, most definitely my best decade, I was still young and would like to correct some bad choices I made during that time which couldve changed my circumstances now in the 2020s.
I would love to relive the 1960’s or early 1970’s.
The right investments back then could be worth millions today!
Plus it was the muscle car era!
There was a lot of positive energy in the 90s. Also it was last decade of original music. Also lots of real good movies back then.
1871. When modern Germany was forged from blood and steel. 😬
Back far enough to remove the Tartus from collective television 📺 memory 👺
I'd go back to September 11, 2001
I'm sure y'all know exactly where I'm going with this
Wait out of these ooh... can you delete my comment please 🙃
70s or 80s hands down !!! Definitely none of the 3 listed in the poll.
The 1990s. It would be exciting to see the computer revolution happen again.
2010 it not that great of an era but black people wasn't treated like third class citizens unlike the others eras that has came before it.
1980's
1950's
then 1970's.
Maybe 1920's
The 1990's sucked mostly, but 1990's were better than 2000 to 2022 , 2000's have been a suck a thon
It would be fun to see how it was in the 90's. Tv, fashion, ideas, tech and so on.
I lived those, I would do the 50s, 60s.
Great music, great cars.
I'll pluck for the 90's, buy the cream of the crop of the dot com stocks like Apple and Amazon
The 90’s was disgusting.
Post 2010 is awful af.
But the 2000’s were a disaster as well.
LITERALLY NONE OF THEM
@Gal67 that’s the point. I hate social media and modern pop culture
@Gal67 Social media didn't become the beast that is by 2010. Smart phones killed everything.
@WhiteBoyChill Kid, you have no fucking clue what your talking about.
None of those. If I could, I would go way back to before I was born, the 60s or 70s.
I would pick 2000s cause I was a teen then and I feel like a lot happened that flow over my head.
it was much the same as now but with a mobile phone and computers
Wish I was born a hundred years earlier. 1898-1992 would be my “ideal” life.
I'd go to the 1990s and invest in stocks that i know will become huge
90’s. Make some smart investments and live by the beach.
@catlover1999 You have no idea how painful this question is.
Are you feeling this too?
@KlinkyCoder Horribly so.
Yeah, I wish I was born 20+ years earlier man. Sometimes I really do.
@KlinkyCoder I remember the good ol' days after 9/11. They were actually good compared to now.
I'd love to talk to you more about this stuff.
@KlinkyCoder Sounds like something a fed would say.
Pardon me? I'm not a fed.
@KlinkyCoder You know how shit is these days.
Yeah, you got that right. :-)
overwhelmingly, the 90's
as they were, the best, of course
The 70s and 80s were much different, the world was a different place.
The 1950's, life was simpler and more honest back then.
2000s I was born in 2000 so I kinda grew up in that era but I was a little kid
Same for me but with the 90s.
Very difficult. I'll gotta go with the 90's but early 2000's were amazing too.
I was happiest in the 90’s.
Disappointed no to see the 80's listed.
I'd go back to 92 baby
A coyote ate my cat last week.
The decade 1990’s (1990 - 1999)
I’d like to check out the 40s
1980 to 1990 those were the gold years.
Reagan era. But dont forget the 1950’s!
@WhiteBoyChill What was so great about the 50's?
@Gal67 everything. There was racial segregation back then and cool cars.
@WhiteBoyChill Crap cars actually, and as for segregation, this may come as a surprise to you but it's NOT something you'd want to return to.
@Gal67 i’m white so I wouldn’t mind.
Guess how often I talk to black people?
Literally never.
@Gal67 easy cars to fix sooooo not a problem
@WhiteBoyChill Put me with you. Either works for me. The 80s were to me what the 50s were to my parents. Both were not without their flaws - what era does not have its less positive aspects? However, both were largely peaceful, prosperous and, dare I say, happy times.
You nailed it!!
The late 80's, early 90's.
Yeah anytime before 9/11 would be nice lol.
I lived all of those so idc to go back
I thought the 2010 were overall pretty neat.
I’m fine here, I have Netflix.
The 1920's-1950's
The 1980's! :)
1990s. Pre-911 days
70s and 80s
Fun question!
Where's the 80's?
The 1990S
