Read the definition below. Does the US engage in terrorism by its own definition?

Here is the US government's definition of terrorism:

“terrorism” is defined to be an activity that (1) involves a violent act or an act dangerous to human life, property, or infrastructure; and (2) appears to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, kidnapping, or hostage-taking."

You bet your ass we are terrorists, we will invade your country using lies as the reason and then we will kill your leader and destroy your cities and take the lives of your innocent family members, force democracy on you, invade your homes and detain you, torture you secretly and lock you up for as long as we see fit, stick around for years and police your towns and cities, look down on you, treat you like shit and go from door to door kicking them in because we want to see who is there, and to top it off we will now be taking part of your natural resources and all you can do is take it because well we have better technology and more money and more ways to cause you and your family harm, meanwhile telling our people back home that we are there fighting for they're freedom amd to keep out homeland safe from foreign invaders even though nobody was invading us to begin with.

And people in the US wonder why other nations develop nuclear weapons as rapidly as they can. I think this speaks for itself. As far as I know, the US has never been overtly aggressive toward any nation that possesses nuclear weapons.

You might argue that the actions were justified, but all terrorists do that. But the fact that it occurs is not in dispute.

I guess it depends on what country you are from. America believes they are acting in the interests of morality. However, in another's eyes, they may feel they are acting in hate or against their values.

Ehh, tough one. Terrorism is an act of war that causes mass death and “terror” just for their cause. We could argue that the US goes to war or supports allies based on our interests or “causes”. So 6 in 1.

No, I think they believe they are defending their country and their religion and culture. It is difficult for the US to argue the same things.
