Why do some guys get so offended about people neutering their pets?

This was initially going to be a question just for girls but I figured screw it, include men as well. Over the years I've heard multiple men get really offended by the notion of neutering their pets (usually a dog, I've noticed), and damn near throw a tantrum about it.

In this clip in particular, a vet says castration might be the advisable solution to solve a family's dog's overactiveness (even humping the children and their friends), yet the father says, and I quote;

"If your talking about chopping my dog's balls off, your talking about chopping my balls off. That's the way I feel about it."

Please, can people explain this line of reasoning? I just don't get it

Let's refer to horses for a minute.
A male horse is often gelded (castrated) to make him better-behaved and easier to control. Gelding can also remove lower-quality animals from the gene pool. Cats are usually fixed to keep getting any unwanted kittens, or for outside cats, keep the feral cat population down. So dogs should be dealt with accordingly. No one wants someone's dumb ass dog humping your leg, cat, or children crawling on the floor playing. Unless you are going to breed them it isn't going to hurt them, but make them less aggressive, and probably less prone to roam the neighborhood if they get out. As for the dumb ass guys not wanting their dogs "Fixed", it is because they don't want to be fixed and instead tell the wife to get her tubes tied so he doesn't lose his manliness, but then bitches and moans when he gets his wife pregnant.

My brother is this way. I think it’s empathy. He winces when I bring it up, his dog has even impregnated another. I think they imagine themselves in the same position as the dog and since dogs are our friends, or even seen as basically kids, that can produce this type of reaction.

It's actually simple if somebody by force wants to tie your tubes would you allow them because they might think that you would sleep around and get pregnent?

You can make mating arrangements for the dog or some training but it's cruel to mutilate there genitals or even for cats cutting there claws such people should not have pets

It's not a fair comparison given how I'm a human being and a dog is a pet meant to exist comfortably within the same space as humans, but I digress.

Training isn't effective 100% of the time, some animals just won't take to it. This is usually just due to far too much testosterone that they can't release naturally in a home environment. Mating arrangements, fine, but itll be a one off every now and then - hardly consistent.

What difference does it make you are human and that's pet the core issue is suffering and forcing.

Yup then have one male and one female it sure is maintenance like having two dogs but yeah it can enjoy it's family time and you yours.

Otherwise would say not to have pets or something like more decent like rabbits they won't hump you but they would each other or genuie pig 9r some short ones

Think about neutering! Not a head banger! Men do take it personally! Like the comment if you cut off my dog's balls, you're cutting my balls off! That is just what most men think, not all !

You think most men feel this way? I would say it's more of a decent minority, but who knows

I just think it's silly to liken your dogs balls to your own 🤷‍♀️
