Are you for or against euthanasia?

It's hard to choose, in general i'm against it cause we cannot take someone's life away since it's only god's decision if he takes the soul from a person or not!
On the other hand, there are some people who are truly suffering everyday and are getting worst till they die, not even a 1% chance to get better, in such cases it's hard to say no because it's like telling them to keep suffering till they die while we are watching and if we assist them in this way, we will feel bad because we always strive to the positive things and be successful...
The conclusion is: it's very hard for me to choose if i'm with or against it!
I am for it, honestly. Medicine can only do so much and at the same time for those who are in so much pain or can't live a normal life anymore or without assistance may want an escape. You are just prolonging death and enduring pain at that point.
If I had some disease that was incurable, keeping me bed ridden and from being able to live life like I am now, fuck that. Just kill me.
I'm for it, as long as all available options have been exhausted first. I'm not for it, if someone is merely depressed or suicidal and suffering from something that happened to them.
If they are going to die anyways and suffer from life long pains due to an accident or cancer, etc... and nothing can be done, then they should have the choice.
Strongly against. I have seen dying people recover. I also have my own experience with a hospital wanting to euthanize my family member. It took a lot of meetings and arguing to keep her alive and she has fully recovered and living at home. That was 4 years ago.
Love is the most powerful weapon, sometimes a tight hug and a kiss are more effective than the strongest pills and treatments!

Not sure about your spelling here, but I think the youth in Asia are great. It’s unfortunate that in many parts of the East they are not allowed to express themselves fully because I think that there is a ton of energy and creativity there.
No really, the problem with euthanasia is that miracles happen every day and a hopeless cause can become a huge win
I saw that once with my own eyes. I had to sit in a hospital with a dying man. His heart and liver were failing. The doctor told me that if I had asked a half hour ago, he would have said the man would be gone within twenty minutes. He just kept going and then improving. Three weeks later he was discharged and recovering
I’m for legislation allowing people to determine their own end of life plans in terminal situations - or including it in a living will should the need arise. Having seen several relatives die slow and horrific deaths from terminal illness I fully support their ability to choose when they’re done with life and that be assisted.
Allowing others (like next of kin) to make that choice I’m still unsure about
Having worked with the elderly, its heartbreaking to see someone with Alzheimer's twisted into a stiffened foetal position and in pain when they are moved to try and prevent pressure sores, its impossible to stop all the pressure ulcers tho because they are skeletal, hearing them moan and trying to push us away then having to feed them, give them a drink or change Continance pads in that position, its difficult. What we see is a shell of someone that's stuck, whod want that? I wouldn't
I am totally for it. I have watched all my grand parents wither away in hospital beds, as well as my mother. There really is no dignity in that type of death. There comes time when all this modern technology and medical advancement really robs people of their quality of life and dignity.
Killing is killing whether it is baby in womb or man/woman. How basic and common sense is this. More self absorbed 💩. Too expensive to have and to expensive to keep them. We are not germs, impulses, and neurons without Soul and Being.
@Paul09 it’s a philosophical worldview and if you are one of “traditional faiths>Self” then Killing, in any form, is abhorrent. It depends upon “what you are living for”
It seems your options are:
Firstly, if they are my resources and I’m about half dead, would I miss those said Resources?
Option 1:
-I live for money and “here and now”life across the board…. ALL things are secondary to USD.
-Vegetable is worse than death…it’s better to kill the broccoli 🥦 than extend it’s stiff and deteriorating existing.
Yes. I’d go even further and say a person has a right to end their own lives. I could never understand the immense amount of pain some people go through just by living, but I don’t think anyone has to live if they don’t want to.
Definitely pro euthanasia. Put your suffering pet sleep but we're not allowed to have that compassion with a human being. What the fuck is wrong with this world?
I am for in terminal illnesses cases only.
Why force someone to suffer?
I’d be for a process of psychological and medical experts studying the individual first. Just like installing suicide phones on the Golden Gate Bridge has cut suicides in half.
I didn’t know that. Brilliant idea.
@fjb2021 Very true.
@fjb2021 It’s true. He also has that annoying likable side that stops you from embracing full hate toward him though. Really must irritate the hell out of his wife.
Good guess? 😁
Ohh Noooh. You are poking at my conservative ideology.
I think persons should have a choice. I watched two family members dying in agony.
If I could have pulled the plug, I would have
For it. Especially with the Clown World we live in, nowadays. I sometimes want to get off the ride, myself.
For it. I laughed my ass off when I found out the liberals in Europe refused to kill people who weren't vaccinated for Covid 19. lol
You either got the life-saving vaccine, or they would NOT kill you.
Who ever wishes to end his/her life - should have the guts to do it himself/herself.
To use others for this is cowardice.
Apart from this, ... go ahead if you must.
I think that in the case of terminal cases its humane and moral. Having watched a cancer patient slowly die over a week is torture for everyone.
Under the most extreme and terminal circumstances I would be 100% for it.
For! Morally it would be cruel to force someone to be alive who is tied to a hospital bed constantly in pain and no hope to ever leave hospital
For voluntary euthanasia. It's my life and I can choose if I want it to end.
pro... a simple, easy death is a lot better than suffering in pain for the rest of your life
For it. If there's no hope of someone living and they are living in pain then let them go rest in peace. No need to have them suffering til they die. Seems cruel.
I assume this is human. I'm for when the person has a terminal illness.
I'm for it. If I'm suffering in bed for the last part of my life, or in a vegetative state, please pull the plug on me. That is not living anymore. We have the right to choose.
For, as soon as possible. And no boring form filling! Hell just give me a loaded gun and I'll do it myself.
yes, it is cruel to make a person suffer but that is way you need to have a will made up no matter what age you are
Let people pass on with dignity. We consider it a kindness to our pets, but won't do the same for our loved ones? That makes no sense.
I'm for it. In some cases it's necessary. For example, my friend's mom has had 2 stillborns and 1 baby die. The doctors said if she got pregnant again she and the baby wouldn't make it. In cases like that I think it would be necessary
Ah my bad I read it wrong. I dunno how but I thought we were talking about abortion
No for it if they have terminal cancer similar their no hope they should be able to do so.
I think it should be available for terminally ill patients who are in great pain.
Personally I'm against it
As for imposing my views on others, I would let them choose for them
Against it on a wholesale basis.
You need to clarify the circumstances
i want to live till i die very very old
I am old enough to have worry about Euthanasia
@OddBeMe Just a race to get rid of old people or in fact anyone that fills the description of useless or cannot do anything or need assistance for most things yet are cognitive of their surroundings and then there are the people that are in a vegetive state kept alive by machine that the family must figure out. My instruction is if I am that way with no hope of recovery PULL THE PLUG, PLEASE!
For but with very strict laws
100% for.
Agasint you can do it hy power of attorneys
For.
Against.
Murder like Abortion
I am a 100% for it.

...
No, I support it.
