Not sure, I don't particularly care about Ukraine but at the same time, appeasement doesn't work. Germany taught us that in WWII, letting Russia have them will never be enough.

I also believe Ukraine should have the ability to join NATO if they so desire to, its their own country to run after all. I don't think NATO would ever actually invade Russia though, so not sure what they are afraid of. If they did, China would probably come to their aid and it would be a unwinnable war to begin with, no nuclear power would ever submit without using them.
