Like look at this…This is so sad. Idek what to think. Someone has to help them. I feel like America could help them, but there would be a lot of bloodshed… In fact, there has already been quite a bit, if they are bombing places… 😞 Why can’t we all be at peace? 😭
Should American get involved with the Ukraine and Russia problem 🤔?
Like the US helped the Soviet Union against Germany in WWII, the US (and other European countries) can (and should) help Ukraine by supplying arms and technology, but it's Ukraine's war against Russia to defend itself.
There is no legal option for the US (or any other NATO country) to provide troops inside Ukraine. Ukraine is not part of NATO and there are no alliances between Ukraine and the West.
The US and other NATO countries should help (and are helping) with refugees from Ukraine, and positioning troops on the European border with Ukraine, to deter Russia from trying to expand beyond Ukraine.

@AviatorTom Ukraine is partner nation to the NATO, no its not a core member of the 30 nations but it protected by NATO as a Partner Nation. So by saying its not a NATO country is not completely true. It would be if not for threat from Russia. NATO does not include as full member because it made deal with Russia in 1992 that would not as long as Russia honored the sovereignty of the Ukraine.
I don't think so. We have our own problems and need to fix our messed-up country. But this is beyond any of our control. I say just live, don't worry, and be the best person you can. If 1/4 of the people in the US would try to make just one person's day better every day, we would all be in a better mindset.

It's not that the rest of the world doesn't have the means to effectively intervene, it's that Putin has become an unhinged madman who is seemingly willing to fire nuclear missiles at whoever will try to intervene.
There is little the world can do. Best chance of stopping Putin is a coup d'etat orchestrated by someone in his inner circle. For that purpose, crippling Russia economically and diplomatically is probably the best course of action. Making it clear that Russia won't have a future after Putin, so that someone with enough sense of self-preservation chooses to intervene.
Hey involved no. As far as fighting. Yes we would crush Russia. But at heavy cost to us with loss of life. I think the best play is to make sure they can’t buy or sell stuff. And literally make sure they are super crippled after this pointless invasion
Ukraine isn't part of Nato, thus the U. S. isn't obligated to defend them.
If the U. S. gets involved militarily then I think the U. S. would have to get involved with all other countries which the big bully tries to bully other small and weaker nations and that isn't feasible.
We can help Ukraine by destroying Russia’s financial business. We can not send troops to Ukraine because we have no treaty with them. Russia will NOT attack Poland as they are a member of NATO and an attack on Poland would bring the wrath of NATO on Russia.
No. It isn't a threat to America and the people here shouldn't have to pay to protect some other country. Our government already wastes billions of our money every year helping other countries that do nothing for us.
