If LGBT community wants to be more normalized, why do some of them act exaggerated?

I am not against the community, just don't understand some of it.
Colored hair, weird haircuts, weird big piercing, too much makeup for trans that even cis women don't wear, exaggerated walk and pose, nudity etc.
It seems like they want to be normalized but they act unique and exclude themselves. They seek attention yet call for normalisation.

It's not about "normalisation" it's about being accepted for who they truly are and not having to conform the societal norms and surpress who they are just to please other people who are not accepting of them

That's the point. If they want to be accepted for who they are then just act normal and don't call attention to yourselves like you were on Instagram. Exaggerated behavioral mannerisms are not natural.

Any group that seeks for extra attention and extra treatment from society, the society might see it repulsive. Why do they want so much attention for?

@jahaims Like being able to sue a baker because they didn't want to make a gay wedding cake because of their religious convictions. I can't sue a baker who doesn't want to bake me a cake. I just go to another baker. But not them. They aren't happy until they sue the baker out of business.

Would you say the same if a baker refused to bake a cake for a black person or other ethnic minority? Refusing on the ground that the person is a member of the LGBTQ+ community is discrimination it's no different to saying they wouldn't serve a black person or a woman just because they never used to because they didn't have rights so why should they have to change

I agree with @sophiejo and I think it is wrong to do so but I believe a private business has the right to do so.

Of course a private business has the right to refuse service to anyone but doing it solely on the grounds that they're gay is still wrong morally

See, the baker is a douche if he doesn't serve gays or ethnic minorities, I agree on that, but it's still legal.

There are "extremists" in any group. I have relatives and friends that are part of that community and think that all that stuff is ridiculous. That is just a result of irrational people. They just happen to be part of that community. It isn't because they a part of that community.

@jahaims trans are still allowed to compete against biological women in some competitions, like the Olympic games recently. The world tries to include a lot of their aspects just for the purpose of wokeness and money.

Yeah but that is a small percentage of the community. That is like saying all republicans are pro gun. You can't judge a whole group by the actions of a few.

@jahaims sometimes it's not even the lgbt's fault. Sometimes it's the society that accept their wokeness or accept them just for money.
