Cocaine is an opioid. Opioids are very addictive and people are easily exposed to it with dental and general surgery pain relief. Root canal, broken bone or even selective surgery and you get some opioid pain medication.

If you start an addiction to opioids it's very expensive to maintain. Snorting opioids in cocaine form is really weak and expensive but if your big bucks it's a safer way to get high. More strap for cash and wanting to get high you shoot heroine into your blood stream for the greatest bang for buck.

Cocaine and heroine are basically the same thing but in different formats.

My career has given me a very negative opinion of this. I have seen people do unimaginably horrible things because they cared more about chasing a high than they did about the people that loved them.
At best these are selfish people. At worst they allow themselves to become monsters.

It's a social status drug. It's expensive and getting cocaine in good quality without connections and investing thousands for bigger tranches isn't possible.
