When I was five and six seven years old and in school and the teacher would call on me to stand up and answer the question I would know the answer but I couldn't stand up because in that moment in time is when I learned about hard-ons and I wasn't in stand up with a hard on in answer a question and I knew in that moment that women were going to take over the world if women were smarter because I thought to myself 10 years from now will I still be doing the same thing LOL because a teacher would call in a girl after she would call on me I think women are great I think no matter what everybody is equal no matter who you are what color you are who you want to be and I say more power to everybody
No I thought things were going pretty good but then all of a sudden a different type of woman got involved she was more loud negative or cutthroat and it got worse and worse and worse I think those women are holding that movement back so far is totally unreal.
I think they mean well but they're reversing everything they're holding women back they're taking away from that Movement by doing it in that Manor
So the only way I can answer this is I still will support that movement always have
Until I run into somebody that has a big fat loudmouth and does everything the wrong way trying to force things instead of doing the right thing and making it happen then I just got to stand back and smile and watch00 Reply

For me, every interaction with another person is about attitude. You can present a benign question in an obnoxious tone. That would illicit a predictable response. Conversely, you can ask a truly contentious question in a way that solicits mature debate.
Feminists are advocating for things like equality in pay and equality in work opportunities. I'm no expert and can't catalogue. At a high level, the things that feminists are pushing for are kind of obvious. Women deserve complete equal treatment in every aspect of life.
When I read your question, I wondered if you consider yourself a feminist. And, if you conform to the stereotype that might have spawned the question. When I watch the news and see a feminist interacting with a journalist, the feminist is often angry, antagonistic, misandristic. She tends to present herself as a victim and often catalogues the assaults society has served her. That indignant presentation is warranted given the obvious inequities in our society. But, it does nothing to correct the problem. She's usually written off as an angry crackpot and her valid statements are dwarfed by immature, emotional and accusatory distractions.
To answer your question. I think feminists are often unpleasant people and they are their own worst enemies. That has nothing to do with the equality they deserve to enjoy even if they're jerks.00 Reply
the first wave of them did a lot of good in my opinion. but modern ones are just garbage, some of the most hateful people in existence.

You know that first wave feminists were what we'd refer to nowadays as Terrorists and were exactly like Black Lives Matter and Antifa and actually regressed women's boting rights by nine years, right? They were supposed to get the right to vote in 1910, but the Suffragettes committed so much arson, vandalism, and sh*tty hate campaigns like the White Feather campaign (which shamed 18 year old men for not fighting in World War I, despite the fact none of these feminists were signing up to fight or even contribute to helping the cause), that they actually HURT women's voting rights and it didn't happen until 1919-1920 in America.
I won't bore you with the details, but aside from Second Wave Feminism, which contributed little at best, feminism has literally always been a hate movement. It's just that revisionist history was easier to pull off in the days prior to television and the internet. Nowadays, they still lie and create false history, just like always, but we can see their lies a hell of a lot easier now. - +1 y
@MCheetah actually i wasn't entirely sure. it's difficult to find information on such topics since feminism (especially the early waves) is heavily supported by schools and pretty much everywhere you go. but yeah, i guess it wouldn't be at all surprising if feminists were really that violent from the start.
+1 yNot a fan of the radical ones or the ones who claim they are feminists, but are actually misandrists.

They're sh*tty, garbage, awful, hateful people who always try to excuse their sh*tty misandrist behavior on "fighting for women's rights" or some BS. I've spoken a lot about what I think of that hate movement before. I won't repeat it here, but I've said enough up above.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI fully support equal rights, opportunities and treatment for men and women. And if today's feminism was actually about equality, I would support it 100%. But no one with a shred of honesty believes today's feminism is about equality.
Today's feminism is irretrievably broken, and anyone who supports today's feminism is either a fool or a shitty person, or both.23 Reply- +1 y
Capitalism has never once been about equal opportunity? How are women given equal opportunity under a system that inherently favors men and subjugates women by turning our bodies into commodities to be bought and sold, relegating house work as being not as important as “actual work”, and allowing men in power to get away with their rapes and sexual abuse
Opinion Owner+1 y@caitycat21 You have got to be fucking kidding me. How EXACTLY does capitalism in the US inherently favor men?
How EXACTLY does it turn women's bodies into commodities?
Opinion Owner+1 y@caitycat21 And by the way, thank you for making my point for me by being an example of literally everything I said in my initial comment here. Day after day on GAG, under your current user name and all the others you've had in the past, you show yourself to be the embodiment of everything that has gone wrong with feminism in recent decades and rendered it indefensible. If feminists of the past could see what today's feminists like you are doing now, they would be disgusted.
Garbage, they rui. Everything they touch. Women aren't ladies anymore. Men can't or won't be gentlemen. 50% of boys today are raised by single mothers and women teachers, and crime keeps going up. They destroyed the family. Just for starters

Also wtf is modern feminism. Just say liberal feminism cause half the time y’all mean that but don’t realize other feminist theory exists
- +1 y
@caitycat21 Because there were multiple stages of Feminism.
the early 1900s Feminism (like fight for equal rights, voting rights, etc)
and even the 70s-80s Feminist movement (more power for women over their bodies, sexual rights, corporate influences.. etc)
is acceptable to me
Modern Feminism, that which has risen over the past decade or so makes little to no sense
and is made largely out of hatred towards men.
Let me remind you that you just posted a question about Police that misquoted statistics
so be careful :) - +1 y
First and second wave feminism both excluded black women? They weren’t feminist in the slightest
And you can shove that snide comment right up your fucking ass.
You literally have no unique nuanced opinion about feminism. And you probably haven’t even read any feminist theory because if you did you’d know how unintelligent you sound right now
- +1 y
Literally a copy paste opinion. It’s so fucking annoying. Be unique for once, formulate your own opinions.
- +1 y
@caitycat21 Yet its feminism that the Black community was able to ride on after isn't it?
But once again, we are speaking about the failures of modern feminism.
Unless you view all feminism as a failure? - +1 y
@caitycat21 I only see you being rude here?
I merely commented on how your Police question clearly misquoted the information given.
You need to read what is actually within the report, instead of making narrative based claims
- +1 y
Explain to me wtf modern feminism is you clown. Modern feminism isn’t a thing. I’ve literally never heard of modern feminism before. Please show me some modern feminist theory you’ve read. Lol
- +1 y
And you were being snarky with your phrasing. Don’t try to play victim because I called you out 😑
- +1 y
Like if you seriously think every single feminist today has similar analysis on the world and gender based oppression that already shows me how much you already don’t know
- +1 y
@caitycat21 You are making a fool of yourself at this junction.
1. You act as if modern feminism is not a term commonly used, just as "socialism" is a term used to describe certain political meanings. We understand that by Bernie Sanders speaking about socialism, we are not talking about communism, or the old social republics of the cold war.
This talking point by Republicans is often attacked by Democrats, because it is dishonest.
YOU make this exact same talking point to me when speaking about Modern Feminism, which is a term that describes the current wave.. consistently used.
This is an argument of semantics, where you are attempting to avoid the topic
2. You speak about RACE, while mixing in arguments against Modern Feminism.
Yes, indeed, Black women didn't get the right to vote until 1965
Though we can also ignore that Black MEN were given the right in 1870, though it was obviously ignored throughout much of the South (which is why the Civil Rights Act of 1965 was passed).
You cherry pick too much and attempt to slander people. - +1 y
@caitycat21 Now if youd like to understand my position on modern feminism, instead of consistently attacking me.. Then I will be happy to explain my position :)
Your choice.

00 Reply Cute I don’t agree with everything they say but they’re cute
00 ReplyI agree and accept them, except the radical ones. Taking it to extreme doesn't change the fact women were repressed all these years.
02 Reply- +1 y
Taking it to the extreme is necessary when violence against women is so normalized and persistent in our society
- +1 y
There is no such this as liberal feminism. You can’t be feminist yet not be willing to radically change the oppressive society that has allowed for the oppression of women
Complicated crowd. They are more interested in the fight with men than doing things for women
