Let's put it this way; you may hate Trump but Trump was crazy. He had an impulsive and dominant personality. I think he has a good way of persuading unstable people such as Kim Jung From North Korea and Putin from Russia. I just don't think Putin would have pulled this under Trump. I am sure that Putin also listens to American media which often showcases Biden's verbal bumbling. So again; like Trump or not; I don't think any of these things would have happened under him. FYI to all the liberals out there; prior to Trump taking office the US was under real threat of being nuked by North Korea. Trump ended up forming positive relations with North Korea. However, the Democrats fail to acknowledge this.

If Trump was the president there would be no war in Ukraine and gas wouldn't be 800 dollars a gallon and kim Jon un (or whatever) wouldn't be firing missiles and reboot his nuclear research center and we wouldn't have massive inflation and 1,200 Mexican peasants wouldn't spill cross the border every day of every week to start living on welfare hud foodstamps and Medicaid and we wouldn't see all prises rise and we wouldn't have shortages and shipments wouldn't take 80 days to arrive and the whole world wouldn't be laughing at us

That's what HE says, and since he's not your typical politician, I ALMOST believe him... but I'm always going to be skeptical of our government overall.

Because something tells me the invasion was bound to happen no matter what. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but do not believe the POTUS has as much power as people make it seem. They're just a public figure for everyone to let out their anger on. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has made it more obvious that there are people behind the president that are ACTUALLY calling the shots.

I do for many reasons! The world would be much better off. He had a way of calming people and smoothing things over even to the enemy! Thats what a good businessman does. Biden was teasing and antagonizing Putin long before he entered Ukraine to the point it is possible Putin was not planning on taking Ukraine. Putin is a man that requires to maintain the impression of strength and power. Such as he showed off riding a horse shirtless and others. Putin was forced to invade to maintain his image!

Not at the moment, but a delay is all it would've been (unless Russia's leadership changed). Putin knows that Biden doesn't really want to get any more involved than necessary. Trump wouldn't've either, but he's a loose cannon; he might well have kicked off WW3 in response.

Trump was extremely soft on Russia. Not only do I think he would have done nothing to oppose the invasion, I don’t think we would be seeing the coordinated global soft power response that you’re seeing now. He was completely ignorant of geopolitics. He would have undermined our allies and probably couldn’t be counted on to live up to US obligations under NATO if the war spilled beyond Ukraine. He is a danger to the security of the entire western alliance.

When Obama was in Russia took the Crimea area. Now that Biden is in, Russia attacks more of Ukraine. During Trump's presidency, Russia didn't do that. the evidence is pretty clear.
