Everyone i know is saying how amazing Chris Rock is, not just on this occasion, but how impeccable his reputation is outside of these events. I believe that no one could have handled it like him, cause it’s natural to want to fight back. He controlled this and remained professional, even when humiliated on national television.

I don’t think will smith is a savage at all, he is and will always be a very talented man. But I definitely think he bullied Chris on live TV. I genuinely want will smith to get some therapy, this is not me trying to insult him but actually help him. He seems to have a lot of misplaced pain. The entertainment industry is a fake world, and he seems to have gotten very lost in it. However, he is a religious man, and with the right support and team he can heal.

Jim Carrey doesn't speak for "white America." He's speaking for himself. And Carrey makes no mention of Will's race, let alone calling him a "black savage."

I'm white. I think Smith was wrong. I don't think, nor did I ever think, he's a "black savage." I think he did the right thing in apologizing to Chris Rock. I would have preferred he did it immediately upon accepting the award rather than waiting the next day. I also think that Chris Rock rocked, insofar as keeping his professional composure and not striking back. He could have pressed charges. He refused to do so. It was a mistake for him to tease Jada's appearance given her condition, but it doesn't justify a violent reaction.

I don't think Will Smith is a "black savage," I do think Chris Rock was professional and composed, and I'm white. Everyone I know personally agrees with this, and most of them are white. Do I get to speak for white Americans?

I see it as a natural occurence. It happened for a reason and the two apologized to each other, but' we ' butt our noses in actors business, and personal lives, and create this outrage onto will smith then go in and talk about it.
