No, we're not. And it's entirely because the federal government seized too much power. We were supposed to be the united states, not the singular state. But the president has effectively been acting as if he is in charge of the state. The federal government is now enacting policies that only half of the country wants. So half the country is upset all the time. Power needs to be relegated to the states, so if people want to enact a policy, it doesn't affect half the country that doesn't agree with it. If the federal government didn't act like a singular state, there wouldn't be nearly as much political tension here.

we are a fading experiment due to all the reasons that were repeated before in civilization... GREED, LAZINESS, ARROGANCE, SELFISHNESS.

That said, I think we are ok for a while yet if we can re-invigorate our compassion, work ethic, control spending, increase productivity and creativity.

Do you see racism as the core issue in your environment and country and in what way? I ask because I don't see it around me. Media yes. I have so many different cultures around me hard to know who is what... and they coexist fine. Is it a bomb ready to go off?

There's solutions to all these problems if we open our hearts and minds. These are all just emotional issues within humanity requiring... change.

I do not know your race and I don't want to know:) Also, I don't want to know your culture... that way, I stay un biased:)! I've not looked at your photo, history, or profile.

I think it is this... People will err on the side of caution, that err may be by superficial means... color/culture/dress/sex, etc.. We have associations to these superficial appearances and make assumptions for the sake of survival.

I have my opinions and experiences, but in general... humans are a tough bunch to deal with because the root issue is... TRUST and SECURITY. To me, it boils down to that. The easy way to differentiate is how someone looks... easy means superficial. But we (humans) will err on side of caution and security first and make corrective assumptions possibly after getting to know the person. I've seen individuals change to be friends in a second after they get to know each other. From a distance, they wanted nothing to do with each other. Assumptions! That be what I hear you conveying/experiencing as racism.

When I see the security and trust in place, the "biases" dissipate. I think that's universal for the most part.

the media is not helping and is amplifying concerns. Why? They focus upon anything that sets off emotions of fear, it sells.. it's what they do... find the worst and torture people with it. Love/peace doesn't sell. Then people who see this chaos are supposed to respond nicely to others that look the same. LOL. They are creating a mess, intentional or not. The people whove tried to address these issues over time get drowned out. It takes 10-100x positive to make up for 1 experience negative.

It's hard to see racism when I see mixtures of cultures. As long as the cultures are compatible, people seems to coexist well... sometimes.

What do you want to come out of society talking about racism? Is it to be understood and have your feelings and perspective validated or some kind of change in society? Both of those are real things, one of the most important things is to be heard.
Also, do you believe other races and cultures experience racism.. like it's a general human quality, or is it focused upon specific races?

I think to a certain point yes. Meaning some states are more like united about helping each other, where others may be more standoffish in terms of not being a team player yet. 😀
