Are political agendas on both sides affecting how we treat each other as humans?

Do you feel like the two major parties here in the United States are contributing to the negativity we see in our daily lives by focusing their attention on coming up with bills that further divide our country.
It’s as if both parties are trying to outdo each other on the far left and far right. If the government focused on guiding our country through crisis and managing infrastructure and defense rather than laws that clearly divide populations, perhaps our political system might be a little easier and more pleasant to stomach.

The way the elites in the US aristocracy choose to organize our political situation is such that the people that make up almost the entire population that isn’t in the government need to be distracted and vent their anger on each other otherwise they will unite against their oppressors in revolution. The elites don’t want revolution, because it cuts into their ability to steal from us and extort us and take liberties with us that we don’t get to take with them or their children or dogs. So, it is in their best interest to keep the peasants fighting or at least venting their on each other. Throughout western history eventually the peasants do revolt, and it is a particular lily pressing issue for the current crop of US government elites because by historical reckoning the average empire that has lasted this long has had a revolution or at least reformation by now. They are desperate and panicked to keep us fighting each other do we don’t turn on the people making us fight. DON’T GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION. The more desperate they get the hotter they turn the fire up under the melting pot. We the people win by putting the government’s race and gender baiting fires out, not by defeating the manufactured ‘enemy’.

No it’s the society in the US that is polarised.

Far to much is made political by people.

The political parties don’t really need to much to promote how people treat each other, the people in the US society does it themselves.

get accomplished until there is some form of common ground created.

Ok, so for a start you dont have 2 sides, both parties are right wing authoritarians.

For decades any hope for large amounts of the population to think or talk about politics in any relevant way has been prevented by a constant campaign of media propaganda fooling you into arguing about minor fringe topics such as abortion and gun control while the criminal dictators at the core of power in your country destroy the environment, freedom, peace and stability both inside and outside of your nation.

These people have no respect for your constitution which is actually very good and would serve you well if you returned to those values.

The sitution is extremely serious, there is a limited timeframe for you, and it does need to be you, to find a way to defeat this enemy. Technology is advancing all of the time and there will come a point at which flags and lies are no longer required to raise an army as literally terminators are a reality and with it any and all hope for any kind of freedom for mankind will be permenantly lost.

The fate of the species is in your hands.

Yes- but I think an issue that's even bigger is the role the media (social and otherwise) is playing. Isolation and hyperfocusing on one side's viewpoints, without allowing for real dissent and discussion (no, not debate; discussion) means that people gradually come to see their own side's ideas as incontestable, and holding contrary opinions as incomprehensible.

Once that mentality's established, the politicians don't have to push it further; they just have to pander to that ideology.

One side literally wants to take my money by force and then spend it on things i dont believe in like transgender surgeries and abortion. Its not possible to have a real relationship or respect for someone that is willing to kill you if you dont hand over your money to pay for killing a baby. And if you dont think they would kill me they want to enact laws to take more of my money and if i dont hand them over police will throw me in prison for not paying for abortions and if i attempt to defend myself from being thrown in prison ill be killed.

Forced diversity are affecting how we treat each other. Once upon a time If you didn't want to live amongst other races you didn't have to. White Countries are no longer aloud to be white so we are being pushed into a corner.
