I was surprised they actually gave him 10 years. Lets face it , he is black and I just didn't think they would lay the law down. Did you know he was arrested for assault before?

Apparently he has a temper and violent streak. For every time you get caught , you get buy with it many times. I wonder if he has hit her? I know for sure he has emotional problems.

I don't think to much of hollyweird as it is, though often wonder in these cancel cultural overly pc days, why does no one ever bring up the fact Mark Wahlberg almost killed a man? When he was younger?

To be honest, that's not fair. I found Will Smith's reaction ridiculous especially since at the beginning he himself had laughed at the joke. But this penalty is exaggerated

Oh well, so he has to sit at home and watch it like the rest of us.
I imagine if Leonardo Dicaprio would've gone on stage and slapped Chris Rock they would've banned him for life, took away his Oscar for the Revenant, completely cancelled him, called him racist, boycotted his movies and the Academy may have even found a way to sue him for damages and breaching the code of conduct.

sounds fair enough. He didn't have to react the way he did. He couldve talked to chris about during his acceptance speech or after. He couldve even threw back a joke at Chris in response.
