When will Americans realize that Latinos come in all shades?

Apparently many Americans think all Latinos have a certain look skin tone, when we have all types of skin tones.

I guess when they realize that white people come in different colors too. That also goes for Brown people from light brown to very dark brown. Black people have a range of black from light grey black to a black so dark they look like they have a blue hue to them. Latinos run the gauntlet from lily White to Black and anywhere in between. So, no one has a lock on skin tones

I live and the part of my city where all of the Latinos live almost every single one of them

So yeah I definitely know that there's a visible difference within skin tone not that it matters but yeah I've noticed

Blame our educational system as well as stereotypes, typecasting, and limited visibility in films and TV. If you take a modern world history class and pay attention then you know Latin America is as diverse as the U. S.

Yep they think Latinos come in my skin color or darker when there's actually a lot of Latinos like Cubans that are more pale in some occasions

They need to go there. You literally never see light skinned Latinos crossing the border illegally, because they built good lives for themselves down south.

Yes, my roommate in college was from Puerto Rico but he was as white as I am. He was also kind of racist because he hated Mexicans and Cubans.

Probably never, I see many shades at work. White looking to fairly dark. I have a Spanish Great grandmother and I like most of the Latinos I have seen. I have more problems with white people...
