Did you know that a "ghost gun" is ANY gun w/o a serial number? Criminals have grinded off the serial number off stolen guns for ever. They are seriously misleading people by saying "ghost guns" are a serious problem. They are showing and talking about "Kit guns" yet they are including and saying nothing about 90% of these "ghost guns" are NOT "kit guns" but are guns with serial numbers removed often by grinding it off. "kit guns" are not cheap and not easily made by street criminal. "kit guns" are ONLY the receiver. You still need to buy a lot of other expensive parts. Most street criminals buy a stolen gun for a few hundred dollars.

So what if the police are finding "ghost guns" at crime scenes. Biden makes that sound like it's a horrendous fact. His announcement attempts to present that finding a "ghost gun, or owning one, violates US laws!

The police have no idea who has guns, how many they may own, and where those guns are. The exception is for fully automatic weapons. The police NEVER solve crimes based on the gun used in a crime - at least not initially. They find bullets and shell casings and use those as identifiers - WHEN/IF they discover a suspect with a gun. There is NO database identifying a specific gun based on the marks of the bullets they shoot.

The fact the police and FBI find them, means nothing. This is simply a garbage argument from the left to control gun ownership. They need a methodology to force registration (like a car, motorcycle, boat, camper, 4-wheeler, etc.). That way, they "KNOW" where the guns are so they can eventually come and collect them (a MAJOR goal of the left).

The US Constitution allows its citizens to own, possess, and use firearms for personal protection and to defend this country against those who would overthrow it. Not having a serial number or a gun personally manufactured from a partial receiver, means nothing.

I have seen on some of the cop shows that there is a way to get the serial numbers off a gun even if it has been ground off. I thought thst ghost guns were made on a 3-D printer. I just do not understand how a plastic gun would work.

This is exactly the miss information I am talking about. It is NOT your fault but media and the anti-gun propaganda! A "ghost gun" is ANY gun without a serial number. This includes stolen guns with serial numbers ground off, metal frames not complete (called a 90% receiver) and yes plastic 3D printed guns.

The reality is the "gang banger" on the street can buy a cheap throw away for a few hundred. They are not going to spend the time or money to build one. Second a "plastic gun" still require regular ammunition that still sets off metal detectors. The anti-gun logiest are pumping out lies and false leading ideas to scare people.
