Do you know that racism and colorism is worse in Latin America than the U. S?

I agree there is a lot of racism here in the U. S. too. I am proud to be Latino but to keep it 100, racism and colorism is WAY worse in Latin America. The systematic racism there is way worse there too. A lot of self hate as well. For example, many Latinos get all happy when their baby comes out light skinned and say"it is bettering the race." Most Latinos raised here in the U. S. don't have the racist and colorist mindset. It is mostly the Latinos that have been raised in Latin America or that stayed living there.

I 100% agree with you. The thing is Americans love to say "Amarica is the best country to ever exist." I'm just holding us accountable and continually push the United States of America to be better now and into the future. Once you sit on your laurels you lose being the best.

Even take how corrupt the United States of America government. Yes it is corrupt and the amount of power the United States has is very dangerous. Take that in mind on a global scale and USA still has 4 out 5 stars least corruption. It pales in comparison yet we should hold our elected offices to the highest level of accountability to be the example the world sees us.

We can't undo history and this is the power we have. Be the shining example we promised to be.

I agreed but that's not an excuse for the USA to be complacent. To be better we need to continually better ourselves to be the example we want to be.

Maybe I'm too jaded here but I'm assuming this was an excuse of some sort.

Racism exists all over the world, and there are many places where it is worse than the US. Liberal politicians and the media make it seem much worse than reality because they use racism as a tool.
