To put it shortly - gender does not equal sex, there’s more chromosomes than just xx and xy, gender is very performative which is why people socialized as women and men are raised differently based on expectations culturally that are built by society

@caitycat21 That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Obviously there's only two genders, you're either born as mald or female. You can see that in almost all creatures. For example, humans, reptiles, mammals and so on. You can't be anything else.
Saying you're non-binary (I don't even know if that counts as a gender in the LGBTQ+ community but oh well) is the same as saying that you're a toothbrush. You will never be a toothbrush, and it's the same with non-binary. You will never be non-binary, you're either male or female, nothing else.

That simply isn’t true. There are many intersex animals such as mammals, fishes, nematodes, and crustaceans. There are also animals that are able to change their gender - Clownfish, wrasses, moray eels, gobies and other fish species.

Saying you’re non binary isn’t the same as saying you’re a toothbrush, non binary people who exist outside of the strict gender binary.

And nobodies born male or female, when you’re born you are just assigned a gender based on chromosomes which is an extremely medically out dated process since gender and sex aren’t the same things. Sex is in relation to chromosomes, the chromosomes in your body does not equate to gender identity.

Using extreme examples like non binary people identifying as toothbrushes are just non sense. I suggest you do your research on topics before talking about them because saying stuff like that is very harmful to an already marginalized community
