So it put's us in a situation where we can make a list of possible contributing factors and still not have anywhere near a complete list. Also you have to keep in mind getting a complete explanation as to why someone committed suicide isn't 100% guaranteed. So we wind up with family and friends of a person that took their like who are still unable to provide a concrete answer when asked why a person closed to them chose to end their life. Even after years of research on their end they are left speculating and trying to find an concrete answer themselves.

Constant dopamine levels from constant instant gratification from getting likes on a post or getting a higher score in "candy crush" leads to basically a drug addiction... and once they can no longer get their high... everything else seems to compound and becomes overwhelming.
That's not the complete answer but it's definitely a contributor.

True, only good democrat is a dead one.

I didn't wish them death, just recognizing how much more dangerous they are while they're alive.
+1 yAbsolutely but don't forget violent video games, latchkey kids, over medicated, fast foods,

Overmedicated I can def see. The others we dealt with as millenials. The laychkey kids might be more prevalent with the rise of inflation and single parent households.

I am a bit older and saw the BIG difference when the mothers went to work! We also saw childhood obesity go way up with the introduction of fast food (fast food to me is everything other than home cooked meals)

+1 yNo. A very comfortable life especially from birth as Gen Z experiences in particularly in the West leads to major depression and creates a illusion in their minds that life is hopeless.
Struggles and overcoming gives your life a lot of meaning.
A super easy life since birth leads to depression.08 Reply- +1 y
You didn't explain what makes life so unbearable. Just being born?

An abundance of food, clothes, and general comforts of living doesn't present challenges.
It makes life mundane and like it isn't worth living. It brings about a empty feeling especially if you rested your hope to bring you happiness.
You won't see suicide rates high in 3rd world nations because their minds is always on constant survival mode. - +1 y
Yeah I get you. Men need to feel needed and have responsibilities and challenges. Lack of fathers like you stated is a problem. However women are currently incentives by the government welfare to kick fathers out of the households so they can collect that check. Single parent households have sky rocketed since the beginning of the welfare nanny state. Men and boys are feeling the consequences more than women are because women are privileged to have their mother and men don't get to have their father- since most single households are defaulted to be with the mom since courts favor women 90% in custody battles.

I don't believe in blaming the women or the government, fathers etc. It's all silly excuses.
Life has challenges including depression and other health concerns as I have had. It's about getting up and fighting day in and day out.
Sitting and crying and pointing the finger at someone else isn't the answer. - +1 y
It's not blaming, it's understanding. And you having personal problems doesn't make you unique, it makes you normal. Everyone has issues, you're justa sad sack gen z who's never been in team sports and spent your social life on a screen and zoom class. Calling it finger pointing and crying is bullshit.

It's not survival mode in 3rd world countries. It's exposure. They don't have instgram to compare their lives to the best living people ever like kids here do. Once 3rd world countries become westernized they become nihilist just like you are. You're spoiled and lack guidance.

No. I understand reality. I understand what is to be grateful, love God, put God first and be content.
Crying over lives of people on Instagram or social media as a excuse isn't going to cut with me.
