I would say so. Because of college culture, the average rate for first marriage is around 30 in the US. Or at least it was at some point in the past when I looked at it. And of course, people tend to have children after marriage, in general. And of course, and older age at marriage is going to lead to fewer children.

I think a lot of it is hyperbole. We’re just not meeting the replacement rates that we did before and people are panicking. I think they’re specifically concerned with white people not having babies over literally anyone else

The only thing holding it above sustainable is immigration. The famous country is Japan but south Korean is way worse.

I don't know I'm a parent so I see a shit ton of kids and couples who are married everyday... so it's def still happening like my kids school is crowded with other kids. These single/childless people must be hiding

It probably is, at least compared to earlier generations (I'm also single and have no children, by the way).
