Both A and C. I used to know a white girl who would drop Nigga all the time. She was blonde haired, blue eyed, and everything. But she grew up in the hood and was Ghetto as f*ck, so she had her N-word Pass (LOL!).

I also don't think people realize there's a big difference between n*gger with a hard R and "nigga." Nigga is only ever meant as a term of endearment or a thuggish black man (mostly infamous from The Boondocks). But it was NEVER meant as an insult or slur. It literally was a reclaimed word to depower the hard R. Just like how "queer" has become for gay men.

But the woke idiots have tried to make it just as taboo as n*gger again. Not that I think words should be taboo, to begin with. The best way to depower a word is to use it over and over again until it loses all meaning. Rarely saying it keeps it taboo.

But you know... That would require people not being stupid and over-emotional babies.

It's why I wish people didn't get so uptight when white people say "nigga." Like... Why have it mean both something bad & especially good if the good just gets thrown out the minute a person of a certain skin tone says it? Why not only have it mean something good so people can't use it against you? Or change the word completely if you're worried you'll be too offended at a certain type of human saying it?

Because if it means "bro, friend, buddy" like many generally use it, then why get angry at people of a different skin tone when they say it? Especially if they're being nice when they say it.

The dumbassery makes me dizzy with cringe...

"If you say the N word casually as a synonym for "dude," and you're not black, you're racist." Can someone please explain why it it racist for a white person to say it - regardless of their intent - but it is not racist for black people to say it - regardless of their intent?

Yes and no. I would use it to describe every single Republican politician, for example, but not because of their race. However it's also true that its nearly impossible to even know about the word without also knowing it is considered racist to use it. And to use it anyway knowing it will be perceived as racist means you don't mind being perceived as racist. That could mean that you're just so confident and credibly not racist that it doesn't phase you, or it could mean that you are a racist, and very few people fit into the former category.

Nah, I think the word itself is racist. But I think it is racist no matter who says it. "Black" people included. I have had many arguments about this in real life. Many "Black" folks vehemently disagree.

I can't speak to other cultures when it comes to using demeaning terms about their own group.

But I still have not heard an argument that explains how the n-word could ever be used in a positive way.

It's just a word. If it has power over you, then you're a well trained racist. N! gger just means Black. If you get offended because someone called you Black, that's because your parents were hardened racists and they trained you like a dog to bark on cue and stir up drama to promote racial division.

No as then we'd both be wrong and nobody wants to be even near you.  Hate speech is prosecuted by law. Sating the "N word" is something you can be prosecuted/fired/disciplined for.
