How often do you change & wash your bed sheets?

I came across the results of a recent survey which says many over 40% of single guys in Britain only change their sheets about every 4 months. Sometime longer. WTF? I don't know if this is the norm for most or not. So what is it? How often do you change & wash your bedsheets.

I wash them once or twice a week, or change them when I don’t have the time to wash them in the span of time. My boyfriend comes over often, so that adds even more dirt and skin cells…

I think some people have the idea that if it's just them (or their partner) who sleeps in that bed, what’s the point of washing them that often? Which, that idea is simply surface level, but they fail to look at all the other factors…

I mean, what are you doing on a daily basis? Most people are interacting with multiple people daily, coming in contact with different bacteria and whatnot, and sometimes people don’t bathe daily before entering their bed. Not to mention, your body sheds millions of skin cells every night, and when that is gathered for more than a week, it can attract dust mites, because they feed off your skin cells! And their feces, your sweat, or other bodily fluids and secretions… Yeah… Do you want to be sleeping in that? I don’t think so lol. That can cause some allergies and other health issues for some people if not washed.

My husband does this mundane chore religiously every Sunday. Not sure how I pulled off sidestepping this chore, but I’ll take it😃

I clean the house and do laundry on Sunday when I switch sheets and pillowcase. I also do a load of laundry on Wednesday. I only wash the blankets every few weeks but they don't get used much mostly folded at the end of the bed.

I like a clean house , I keep my mess around my computer desk. The library and living room are seldom used just need dusting. I cook a lot so the kitchen is priority , I'm pretty good about keeping the kitchen and bathrooms clean.

I used to have a much bigger house with a second kitchen for my baking and four bathrooms but it was too much space for one guy.

Every other week. But I sleep alone and shower before bed with clean clothes

I know dirt cells and all that but I try. If I’m really lazy once every three weeks but used to do it weekly just my washing machine is old and it takes two hours for short wash and that pisses me off lol

Every 4 to 6 weeks I do, I try for monthly but I might slip for week or two... honestly it depends on how sloppy the sex gets... I do it sooner as needed like the next day if not that night if the sheets get wet. So maybe once every two to three weeks them.

Maybe every other week, sometimes every week. As this sheet is the only one I've been able to find that fits the bed, I always use the same sheet but, I'll toss it in the wash in the afternoon and then put it back on the bed before I go to sleep for the night.

I do it every week and make my bed everyday.

We have 5 bedrooms in our house, so each bedroom has 5 beds. My dad does his and mum's room, and I change the sheets of other 4 rooms with the help of our housekeeper.

Every two maybe three weeks. Depending on the weather if it's hotter than every two weeks otherwise every three weeks. Every 4 months sounds unhygienic to me

Every two or three days without fail. I'm a bachelor, but I'm also a clean freak. I also have a cat that likes to sleep on the bed and gets hair all over the bedding so I have to change and wash them frequently anyway.
