This may be controversial but abortion shouldn't be banned. Why do people have the pre conceived idea that women abort simply because they don't want responsibility. There are so many reasons women abort women abort rape babies, some women have to choose their life over their babies bc the baby may kill them both due to high risk pregnancy. Anyways idky so many men are speaking about abortion. No uterus no opinion, you'd never be in the position of childbirth and ofc the woman chooses what happens she carries the baby you don't and won't ever...

2. VERY FEW abortions occur because of rape or preganncy threatens the life of the mother. Policy should be made based on the most common reasons for abortions, and perhaps making allowances for those situations you mentioned. What do you think is the most common reason why women have an abortion?

3. Overturning Roe v. Wade does not men that abortion is illegal. You should try to understand this issue better before you try to lead or influence public opinion. Do you know what the legal consequences are if Roe v. Wade is overturned?

I agree with you.
There was a recent poll on GAG asking who was excited about the possibility of overturning Roe v Wade. Only men voted yes.

I don't think men should have any say so in the matter. They have no way of relating to being pregnant.

I think the option of chemical abortions before 8 weeks is great.
I have no problem with early term abortions (16 weeks max).
I hate the idea of late term abortions, but realize that they may be necessary under certain circumstances.
I have the lowest possible respect for women who use serial abortion as a means of birth control. I almost feel that such low lifes should be forcibly sterilized.
I think women who get pregnant accidentally should learn from their mistake and take measures to insure that it doesn't happen again.

I watched a YouTube video where a woman pretended to be about 9 months pregnant, by putting a pillow or something under her shirt.

She then proceeded to prance around a pool with a beer in her hand. Wow, everyone was hating on her. Why? I thought it was "my body, my choice?"

Roe v Wade has NOT been overturned, at least not yet. The official ruling is not due for another few months. What was leaked is a draft of what would be the majority opinion of the court, which would codify its ruling. One misconception is that this would ban abortion... it WOULD NOT. It would simply return the legality decision of abortion back to each individual state; there would no longer be a nationwide rule allowing abortion. Even now, before the ruling, states have the right to put restrictions on abortion, so long as it is not a complete ban.

1) Having a child would interfere with a woman's education, work or ability to care for dependents (74%)

Note than none of the reasons cited for women have anything to do with "my body, my choice". The reality is it's "my life, my choice". But women can't say that because the same also applies to men, and that would open a can of worms for feminists.

All the scenarios you listed (plus the other common talking points you missed) constitute, at most, 1.5% of the abortions performed in the United States, and that's a high outlier to what's generally closer to 1-0.9%. It hasn't been yet. There is a leak saying it seems like it will be, but until the court publishes its opinion we don't know. No state can make laws outlawing abortion at this time. Roe v. Wade is still the law of the land.

Technically it hasn't. That was only a draft decision from February. Also even if it does get overturned the decision on abortion goes back to the states to decide. It doesn't become a national ban on abortion.
