Do you know the true history of suffrage?

Before ww1 no one can vote. Not just women and children. No one could vote unless they were a property owner.
When men got the right to vote it came with the agreeement to register for selective service. To this day, you get to vote because you pledge (automatically) to serve in the military, whenever you are needed.
But females just blocked a bill to require females to be eligible for selective servive. Wtf?
Talk about sexism!!!
