I've known about this for a while now, especially the white feather movement, and have mentioned the first wave feminists on this site for a while now. I always say that the suffragettes were the Black Lives Matter of their day and just as bad. Their rioting and arson delayed everyday women's suffrage by nine years. They literally caused more societal damage to everyday women than helped with anything; just like BLM regarding actual black lives in America. Or any of these trash movements.
And yet SO many people stupidly and wrongly say "feminism used to be good and about women's equality." Even men saying it. It pains me to hear such tripe from people in the age of 24/7 knowledge available in your pocket.
Second wave is the only somewhat-exception to the rule, but feminism has almost ALWAYS been a sh*tty, hateful, disgusting anti-male movement just to make already wealthy women rich.
Now, @t-8900, if you want to learn MORE about how sh*tty feminism has always been, I'd suggest your next stop in history be the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 and seeing what Susan B Anthony really thought of men. And yet, people still want to think feminism "used to be about equality" and "used to be good."

Incredibly important history. We live in a shameless society, the Order of the White Feather would have no effect on today's men. We've realized we owe women nothing when they refuse to be willing to submit under a husband's authority.
A society that proves itself not worth protecting is a society marching towards it's collapse.
this war between the genders for nothing but financial and political gain has to stop. That's why majority of women today don't identify as feminist. And sadly many men groups now feed young men to hate women. it is a vicious self destructiv cycle
Most third wave, woke feminists today do not know their own history. Like how the very first feminists were pro life for example. Abortion was never about empowering women, just about harming both women and children.

It was a particularly ugly chapter of history. The West sleepwalked into a wholly unnecessary war that sowed the seeds of fascism and the next war. Tragically, the best and bravest men of Britain voluntarily enlisted early and were mostly mowed down, which made the society far more vulnerable to subversion. As for those privileged harridans like Pankhurst, I suspect their work will culminate in women being subject to conscription the next time it is necessary. There are no arguments left against it that cannot be construed as sexist.
Already know the topic as soon as I see the white feather.
I've known this since highschool though it took time to click.
I honestly didn't know any of this as well, but it is good to learn about history.
I'm confused. Was this lady mad someone told her she can't fight? Like what if she told a man he can't nurse a baby? Isn't that common sense. Maybe she needs to redeem her word and have some babies.
Can you summarize it for me?
Yes. I took Women's history which was informative.
I knew, didn't matter to me much to be honest.
