How many of you actually knew about this chapter of history? Women especially? Self Proclaimed Feminists most of all?

I've known about this for a while now, especially the white feather movement, and have mentioned the first wave feminists on this site for a while now. I always say that the suffragettes were the Black Lives Matter of their day and just as bad. Their rioting and arson delayed everyday women's suffrage by nine years. They literally caused more societal damage to everyday women than helped with anything; just like BLM regarding actual black lives in America. Or any of these trash movements.
And yet SO many people stupidly and wrongly say "feminism used to be good and about women's equality." Even men saying it. It pains me to hear such tripe from people in the age of 24/7 knowledge available in your pocket.
Second wave is the only somewhat-exception to the rule, but feminism has almost ALWAYS been a sh*tty, hateful, disgusting anti-male movement just to make already wealthy women rich.
Now, @t-8900, if you want to learn MORE about how sh*tty feminism has always been, I'd suggest your next stop in history be the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 and seeing what Susan B Anthony really thought of men. And yet, people still want to think feminism "used to be about equality" and "used to be good."
Incredibly important history. We live in a shameless society, the Order of the White Feather would have no effect on today's men. We've realized we owe women nothing when they refuse to be willing to submit under a husband's authority.
A society that proves itself not worth protecting is a society marching towards it's collapse.
If you take away a man' wife, his children, what exactly is he fighting for? "Self improvement"? Brah that only takes a man so far. Idc WHAT a MGTOW or Redpiller tells guys. Men are strongest with a strong woman in their corner who is faithful and loyal. That will propel him to the top.
But so many think they're gonna have all these self made men. Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news for these ladies. 70% of the USA are suffering depression and of those 60% are on a cocktail of antidepressants. This whole "Wait till your 35" business isn't healthy for anyone. It's not how we were designed to be. And a man won't reach those goals like he used to because he didn't have a gal with him, backing him, comforting him, nurturing him, to reach for the stars. We're made for each other, not to fight each other.
You have a point, @t-8900 however, so few women are worthy settling down with these days. It's too late to turn the ship around for most people my age and younger. These women have their Onlyfans accounts and think they won't ever need a man for anything. It's a rude awakening when those women get over the hill in age and they have no one to fall back on.
this war between the genders for nothing but financial and political gain has to stop. That's why majority of women today don't identify as feminist. And sadly many men groups now feed young men to hate women. it is a vicious self destructiv cycle
I know you're not I saw your comments to other people. I think many forget today that without love and unity between men and women we would have been gone extent centuries ago. Women needed men and men deeded women. Nothing shameful about that 🌹
And we still need and will always need each other. Being so closed off from each other has us all hurting. We don't even give people a chance to reveal who they are. We just hammer judgement on them one after another. Maybe I'm too poor to be your boyfriend or not attractive. But why can we just be friends then? 🥺 I know you are hurting too so what can't we just lean on each other and be a shoulder if nothing else. When I try to show this sensitivity most girls get repulsed I think. And I'm just like why? Why can't we just be real about it? I know you girls have good intuition. So I know they know I'm not bsing or a bad guy.
For me if we initially were trying to form a romantic bond than I will not be a friend.
Not because I am repulled by the idea but because I don't want to use men as emotional pillows when I know damn well we can't be together. I think friend zoning is harsh and immoral. It hurts the friend who has hopes and feelings to see his crush sleeping around or crying about some bad boy hurting her. Some men would accept such treatment because they think that's out of love. No I like things clean. My friends are only my friends. No hopes or broken hearts.
Oh nah once I'm a friend that's over with. I might ask you to help me vet girls in the future if you were to become close like that. But more so having emotional support is nice. I e dealt with the negative hurtles of FZ when a teen so I now know how to break that romantic stuff. But I get it too. I understand that pov and it's a lot more common so I'm pro just weird lol
@Celtero whatever you want to believe mr
Most third wave, woke feminists today do not know their own history. Like how the very first feminists were pro life for example. Abortion was never about empowering women, just about harming both women and children.

It was a particularly ugly chapter of history. The West sleepwalked into a wholly unnecessary war that sowed the seeds of fascism and the next war. Tragically, the best and bravest men of Britain voluntarily enlisted early and were mostly mowed down, which made the society far more vulnerable to subversion. As for those privileged harridans like Pankhurst, I suspect their work will culminate in women being subject to conscription the next time it is necessary. There are no arguments left against it that cannot be construed as sexist.
Already know the topic as soon as I see the white feather.
I've known this since highschool though it took time to click.
I honestly didn't know any of this as well, but it is good to learn about history.
Definitely true, I literally have no monetary power at all
@FinalFantasyBro in the end most of us dont. in fact even the people making 6 and 7 figures who delude themselves into thinking they're vastly superior? They aren't the monopolists in control of everything. They aren't a real player, still pawns.
I'm confused. Was this lady mad someone told her she can't fight? Like what if she told a man he can't nurse a baby? Isn't that common sense. Maybe she needs to redeem her word and have some babies.
Can you summarize it for me?
The White Feather Campaign:
Feminists: We live in a Patriarchy and have no voice
Also Feminists: we shamed men publicly until they went off to go die in a war by saying they weren't men unless they died for us!
*proceeds to take more control and voting power after millions of men are shamed off to go die*
Same feminists: Also okay with shaming 15 and 16 year old boys until they also went off to go die
The whole point: They wanted political power and were afraid that if the Nazis won't they would be "setting back 50 years of progress"
Also: Zero mourning of the boys and men who gave their lives.
All the while not realizing they had so much power and such a strong voice they got men to go off and die for something they never believed in just to impress women and to feel like men.
This video is false. The Nazis were World War II, not World War One. Also 15 and 16 yr olds can’t join the army.
Huh. Well I think both World Wars were fought for a good cause and ended up having good results so I’m not too upset.
Still think this video is in some way inaccurate
But planned parenthood does a lot of good today
@gwenhwyfar depends on the individual in question. We can say that Nazi science was good too. It gave us a lot of medical advancements. But at what cost? I still dont think the ends justified the means. As for planned parenthood they certainly aren't informing women that they might have life long depression after making that decision and they have silenced women who have come out saying it was the biggest regret of their lives. If it was about helping women they'd at least let them make the most informed decision for themselves. I can also say they've been the cause for suicides because of their practices too. What helps one person might be horrible for another. And its more about making money then doing good in the world.
I get what you’re saying
Yes. I took Women's history which was informative.
Basically Admiral Charles Fitzgerald used women to pressure men into the British army, correct? Which is interesting to me, using women as a spokes person. I find it a rather weak move on his part. (I'm assuming that's the campaign you're referring to.)
Yeah. And my point is women always had power with their voice. Maybe not always politically but surely we can agree a woman is a powerful figure in the lives of all mankind. Men want to appease women greatly because it reflects on their own self worth. Women had the power to make or break entire civilizations. Ancient Rome and Egypt were destroyed by them and Carthage and many of the Northern Celtic tribes were build by them. You have had a long history of women inspiring men to go to fight for them and die. You can find women dominating men in warrior societies like the Sarmatians. You have examples of them teaching men among the Gaelic tribes. The teachers of Scatha come to mind. The dynamic of women that we think of today and over the last few hundred years in the west was more to do with ideas from the middle ages. Certainly not a reflection on the natural order of things. Which was symbiotic and codependency. I don't know wth happened to us but we are so far off track and we need to get back on it desperately.
I knew, didn't matter to me much to be honest.
