So I finally Googled this whole incel thing I keep hearing about and read the whole article on Wikipedia, and it tells us that it was a Canadian female named Alana who got it started:
"The first incel community was started by a Canadian college student known only by her first name, Alana, in 1993 or 1997, when she created a website in order to discuss her sexual inactivity with others. The website, titled "Alana's Involuntary Celibacy Project", was used by people of all genders to share their thoughts and experiences. In 1997, she started a mailing list on the topic that used the abbreviation INVCEL, which was later shortened to incel. During her college career and after, she realized she was queer, and became more comfortable with her identity. She later gave the site to a stranger."
If you don't trust Wikipedia you can Google her alone and find the same thing. She even regrets the way her invention is being used now.
Did you know that the "incel" movement was actually started by a female?
I think this movement raises an important question. There are many people like myself that never get laid, or attention from the opposite sex. While it doesn't bother me personally, I just stopped caring about being in a relationships truth be told, it affects some people negatively. Some of the symptoms includes stress, anger, depression, and some even commit suicide as they fell they cannot be loved. Getting people together and talking could be a positive thing for the community, and letting people know they are not alone, and it is normal to have long periods of time between relationships.
Although, I just feel the need to say, if you feel any of the symptoms mentioned above, please seek help, and talk to friends, family, groups, and/or professionals. No one needs to be alone when dealing with personal issues.
Great opinion! Before you stopped caring about it - which I find to be sad that anyone would have to but the survival technique is essential in situations like this for the reason you mentioned above - how did you deal? How did you come to accept it?
I believe people often lack the tools to get to a point of acceptance regarding anything and everything really, but the things we don't often talk about, like this here, should be spread and supported even more in communities. I believe people shouldn't have to suffer in the dark. There are others in the same situation - it would be a win/win.
Kudos to you for sharing! I'm not in your situation and can not say that I understand it the way you do, but my ability to comprehend the difficulties and the imagination of it is enough to realize the hardship it must be. I live on hope, personally. It never dies for me.
To answer your question, I have always been alone, bullied at school etc., so guess I am just used to it. If I were more social, I would probably be impacted more in the earlier stages (where you seek that closeness with someone). Guess it's just lucky I got used to being alone from a young age?
I understand the sentiment and "logic" but don't think there is any "luck" involved here. Are you meeting up with others in the community or is your introverted personality keeping you from that? What would you want to do?

Getting people together to talk is pretty much what I was trying to do with the Take I wrote some weeks ago about how even women can create sexual frustration in men, but while many guys got it the females didn't want to understand the situation.
Interesting - unfortunately self analyzing and realization isn't everybody's strong suit. I haven't read it but I will if you like. Who knows. I might get it.
I didn't know. But being in a somewhat comparable situation, I do feel for these guys. In today's society, if you're a woman with a good degree, money aplenty, and access to hundreds (thousands?) of men through dating apps but couldn't find love because you're picky af and only want a millionaire with this and that and that other trait, you'll get articles on the press calling out men for not giving you what you aspire to. But if you're a socially awkward dude (money is irrelevant if awkward), with access to virtually no woman either IRL or online, then whatever few articles about you will just be insulting and have no regards for your actual suffering and difficult place of being a man (while socially awkward girls will still have opportunities).
Can you really say she started the movement so much as rather coined the term afterall I've never heard of them until recently and its not likely she has any relationship with the current group of today.

Eh, this was going to happen. Women with cocklust for certain demographics in particular have displaced enough of the population that this is just the culmination of their ripple effect. It's a little sad, but eh, what are you gonna do. I definitely don't sanction terroristic violence but it's not a pleasant facet of the current culture & I'm under no belief that men wouldn't take this idea of an 'incel rebellion' & run with it. Doesn't ultimately matter who started it.

Violence is the only way to fix it. The Colonists sent letter after letter to England telling them how unjust it was. Nothing changed until they fired their weapons.

Violence solves it. Whether it tickles your social fancy or not. Every dead human represents millions of dollars in lost productivity. Once they slaughter a few, they have more than made up for what was taken from them. Then, through prison or suicide, they are guaranteed to never return the cost for the damage they inflicted. And they are doing it. It is happening. Incels are killing and every time one does, they solve the problem for themselves. And they will keep killing as long as the public insults and dehumanizes them further. How hard is it to legalize prostitution so that these guys can get what they need? It's not. It's like flipping a switch. What are the arguments against it? That too many women would become call girls? Well, that certainly speaks to women's character, doesn't it? The same toxic character that created this mess. Stop the killing. Do the right thing. Let them get laid and pay money for it. Problem solved.
