As a conservative, I don't understand why so much seems to revolve around who is most loyal to Trump?

His endorsements are often enough to push candidates over the edge, and a lot of them will end up winning... so these are people who firstly and foremost are just fanatically loyal to him personally.

I'm loyal to my ideals before anything else. I guess that puts me in a minority?

No one else has been able to do a more effective job of making liberals lose their absolute minds. And that's pretty much all ~99% of Republican voters care about anymore (the rest want tax cuts for millionaires - which are themselves).

The combination of Trump's obvious crimes, his egregious failure to lie about them convincingly, and no one doing anything about it undercuts allll the faith that liberals have in the governments ability to do its job of impartial accountability. Of course, they think it's because the justice system has always favored the rich and powerful, but his supporters jump on the unskilled liar bandwagon to say it's because he committed no crimes. This just infuriates the liberals further because the education system was at least supposed to prevent people from being dumb enough to fall for such obvious lies. Which trump supporters find hilarious because they've been called stupid for decades (or So they have been told) and now relish the opportunity to turn that percieved stupidity into a shield.

Oh, also his incompetence. That irritates the left, too, though less so. We've always had to deal with incompetent Republican politicians, so it's not too big a deal, but that people keep voting republicans despite the fact that they keep crashing the economy every time they got power for the last four decades makes them a little cross eyed.

You ever think maybe just possibly it's the other way around and Trump tends to agree with many in the Republican party. He tends to keep his ear to the ground and listen to the pulse of the people and then plays a semi-populist role in the plan. Populism seeks to defend the interests and maximize the power of ordinary citizens. The movement around Trump is much bigger than one man. He just plays his part on the team... Not everyone on the team like every person Trump endorses. Trump doesn't even like those people a lot of times... But many times those people are moving in the right direction either because they are on the team or because they are controlled through leverage. Other times they are being set up on purpose to expose certain aspects of corruption... Not everything is Black and White... There's a lot of Gray in play...

The media rushes out with explaining “what he meant”. With trump the media did the same thing but always negative. It was exhausting. Because Trump is currently the political avatar of populism, and many have taken this to mean that he's the SOURCE of populism. He's obviously not; the man is a result, not a cause, but most people involved in politics really are that detached from reality.

Perhaps you should consider voting for the conservative ideal of democracy? At the moment, that seems to mean voting for the party you don't like (and for some reason seem to think aren't nearly as corporatist as Republicans).

Trump tried to steal the presidency and is trying to do it again by getting loyalists elected to count the votes next time. Only in places he wins, of course, the others will be "problematic" and the counts discarded.

It is not so much loyalty to Trump but a desire to support an America First agenda. Strong economy, energy independence, secure borders, American manufacturing, and putting America's needs above the needs of foreign countries, most of which hate us anyway.
