Maga comes from classical liberalism and the idea of free markets, we want more free speech we want more free markets and less regulation MAGA take American traditionalism and bring it into the modern world. Our ideology come form people like Edmond Burke, Jon Locke and the founders like Thomas Jefferson Ben Franklin etc. there is kind of a religious aspect to MAGA since most believe in the Christian Bible and the word of God. (I happen to be the 1% that’s agnostic/atheist I’m agnostic myself) we also for the idea of federalism which is the states make laws based of issues affecting the country rather then a centralize government forcing every single states to match their laws, Progressives and democratic (but I repeat myself) love and hate federalism. For example abortion laws now that SCOTUS is about to over turn Roe, All it does is kick the issue back to the state so if your pro choice and live in Texas you’ll be moving to California if your pro life and live in California you’ll be moving to Texas and individual states control there own laws regarding abortion rather then the federal government controlling that “right” (I don’t think it’s a right but not trying to get into an abortion debate)

so yea that’s the difference the democrats party is more like the Nazis and communist and fascist and maga is more like the classical liberals of England in the 16th-18th centuries
