The View Co-Host Sunny Hostin said a black Republican is a oxymoron and that she doesn't understand latino Republicans, do you agree with her?

No, I think she's trying to corner people like Biden's whole "you just ain't black" gimmick. It is crude, racist, and seems like it would backfire horribly. The target audience is young people with low self esteem though, what they both have in common is a lot of people listen to them. Come the end of the day, if they said drinking bleach is an excellent dietary aid, even if only 1% of people listened, there would still be close to a million dead people.
The minute black American stop being republican is when their community fell apart.
You can argue government interference with drugs and assaantion of leaders.
But" American blacks" had higher trade skill
The Highest marriage
They actually be lived in his and not just socially
They kids were more behaved
They had more fathers in the home
And more wealth adjusted for inflation.
The minute they starred voting blue we got higher crime, higher drop out, single parent homes less job participation.
Voting for democrat only works for black women. They got Harris and the new surpmw court lady and government jobs and Housing.
Then if I say I want traditional house hold they call black men. White men of the black community WTF they legit said this in 2020
That is an extremely racist comment and absolutely unacceptable. I dont care if you are part of the brown community you do not get a free pass to speak that way on live television.
It is very hard to deal with stupidity. White , Black Red or Yellow does not matter from where it comes from stupidity is stupidity it does not change. Wish these woke people would wake up and see the truth as it is not as it is told

no, didn't explain what she means (when I watched this a while back). these policy /emotional leanings aren't based upon color. there's a lot of personality traits, family influence. Not all black people in africa are the same... they aren't in usa either.
Rare? Perhaps. An oxymoron? No. This extreme statement is meant to emotionally manipulate people in certain demographic groups into voting a certain way because of their race instead of their interests and beliefs. It is poor political discourse.
People on The View and other similar shows say things to get ratings. Often, what they say is nonsense. You can't believe them sometimes (most of the time?), especially when they say things like this that everyone knows is controversial.
I think she's dead serious though. Most Blacks aren't Republicans for a reason.
I know several conservative blacks, conservative Latinos too. What she said is racist and uncalled for... but I'm sure it helped the show's ratings.
Dude, blacks vote almost 100% democrats. I think around low 90% percent to be exact if I remember correctly.
You knowing several black (maybe 10) conservatives meaning nothing as you are only one individual.
Your numbers are wrong. It's about 80%. And blacks vote for Democrats because Dems pass laws to make blacks happy, not necessarily laws that help them... welfare, for example, helps poor blacks and encourages them to stay poor... on welfare.
Got confused. Obama received like 90% something of the black vote.
Obama was a unique case, in part because he's black. In a typical federal, state or local election, the black vote doesn't exceed 80%.
She is still on the plantation believing everything the Democrats promise for them every 4 years then bail out till the next Presidential election. Then to vote again to stay on the plantation and be the. Democratic mouth pieces for stupidity
that's actually one of the most racist things ever said on the show, but whatever. If about 80% of blacks are in fact, Democrat, that's STILL 20% who are not--and a good chunk of those are Republican. Why would she just pretend 20% of the black population doesn't exist?
I finally get why the show is called THE View... because they all only have 1 view and it's getting more and more far left every year.
That would require that political beliefs and/or social priorities are genetic, which us quite possibly the most thing anyone has ever said.
If you find yourself agreeing with a harpy on the View, it’s time to start reevaluating your life.
The height of ignorance and stupidity is thinking you are always right.
The height of ignorance and stupidity is saying that a black republican is an oxymoron. And it's quite frankly, racist.
My only question is does she really mean the propaganda she spouts. Or has she been spouting it so long she doesn't even remember anymore that it's propaganda?
of course not. leftists are evil and can't understand anyone but themselves
Just your daily dose of Liberal racism.
Why does anyone listen to them?
But what have Democrats actually done for them? Are any of them better off in blue cities and blue states?
Point is the Republicans don't give a ish about the black community at all, in fact they often oppose social programs which helps needy black people out in terms of housing, medical attention, schooling and food services and don't dare to bring up how police treats black people to Republicans because it will fall on deaf ears. So that's Sunny's point.
Now, the current Democrat party aren't that much better than Republicans but they at least toss the poor dogs a bone here and there and act like they care.
Moreover, the Republican party is a political party that best serves the interests of high middle financial class and above.
If you make less than a net of 75K a year in particular with a family to raise in America major cities and support the Republican party then you're a fool regardless of what your ethnicity is.
No. I understand conservative Latinos. They are very Catholic and old school. If repubs werent so racists they’d have more Latino voters.
this says it all:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/YhmC26sbGfMThere is a significant difference between right and far right. That would be like me blaming everything somebody does wrong on the far left, on left wingers in general. That seems to be an unfair characterization. I wish society could understand that the ar right does not represent the right any more than the far left represent members of the left. Other than that, I agree with this man's statistical analyses.
@Ghostluck is there? is there really? you are judged by the company that you keep and by staying with the republican party--you say that racism doesn't bother you. you need to watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgeT0Klkqug&t=328s
I have to disagree. That would be like me saying that just being Democrat, that you are automatically associated with wanting America to be a communist country, which we all know is not true, but, you are judged by the company you keep, right? Here is the thing, Far Right idealism is not a representation of the company that I keep. I keep people close to me who are center, center right, or center left. People who start having extreme views that go too far one way or the other, are people I tend to stay away from. So what about people like me? Are you to place me in to some box and put a label on me as well? I sure hope not, but I cannot stop you from doing so if you so choose to. All I am saying, is that not everyone Republican supports Trump, especially after the shit show her performed. Not everyone support Tucker. Not everyone supports Bernie Sanders, not everyone supports Maxine Waters. You can't place everyone in a box like that. Far right is just that, far right, just like far left is just that, far left. Not everyone fits in to just those two categories. That is just wrong no matter how you spin it.
@Ghostluck then, you have no home in the republican party. poll after poll has you in a minority--the ''far right'' has taken over--there's no deputing that. here's a nice challenge for you: if not racism... why are you in the republican party? and I want a real reason... not one like ''small government and no regulations'' or ''lower taxes''. I want something that takes me longer than a few seconds to debunk.
@Ghostluck to to prove my point--here's one of many examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyQQaQuew_k
@Ghostluck none can give a real answer... they're not even running on anything. hell, I don't even vote... why should I? aside from my religious views--most of the time--it's just a different wrapper. Trump was an outlier, however. aside from the fact that we don't have a moronic madman in office I had no other expectations. it was Trump's negligence that got Biden where he is... sadly, Biden can't understand that.
My personal perspective, both parties have drastically changed in the past 10 years. Even people who I once respected have even changed and started to look extreme in their views, one such person being Rand Paul.
At one time, I respected him very much, but today, I can no longer do so as he seems to have taken a path that I cannot follow. Politics in general have become extreme, and even though some may approach it with reason, after being surrounded by such extreme politics for so long seems to have a changing effect that turns them from logical thinking people, to very emotional and extremist people.
Sadly, in politics today, people are stuck in this perpetual renewable hatred that continues to feed itself. The faster this pinwheel of hatred spins, the more momentum it gains. The Right fuels the Left and the Left Fuels the right. This seems to be affecting ALL political parties, and quit honestly, that scares the living shit out of me, because that only ends one way... war. And war is the very last thing I want, but despite my best efforts to sway people otherwise, Americans seem to be stuck on that very dark one-way path.
I just try and do my part to get people to relax, think things through, and stop hate mongering. I feel my efforts are having zero effect. But I would hate myself if things grew to the furthest extremes and I did not at least try to put an end to it before it happens.
@Ghostluck or, just gave him the proper habitat to be his real self... but. I agree. I raw a story that pissed me off--Paul made a statement about us not being able to afford to help the Ukraine... that pissed me off. do you know how much money we blew over the wall, Trump's golfing trips and, those tax cuts?
@Ghostluck turn on MSNBC.
@Ghostluck something else I think you need to hear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8NO-DeQGIA&t=328s really pay attention to the debate.
When they were simply gathering to protest, I didn't hear much, but when news broke that they had forced their way inside of the building, people were flabbergasted. Nothing good came of that. No points were proven, no change was made, no voices were heard. Sure, there are idiots on the Right, undeniably so. Sadly, people who are the dumbest and filled with the most hate, often have the largest megaphones.
Now, you are taking the people who took part in the insurrection and using them to represent the party as a whole? Isn't that generalizing for the actions of the few? Because of the very noisy few, you are putting blame to anyone who has Conservative views.
The Left has had their own fair share of crap. They took over the center of an entire city. Did the people who burned down buildings, cars, the violence that came from it, even the shooting death of a man wearing a Maga hat, the unruly behavior that seemed to defy all sense of logic, did those people represent the entirety of the Democratic Party? Of course not! I have seen MANY Democrats ask, "What in the hell are you doing?"
That is just wrong. If I start a group that is in protest for peace, and a certain percentage of that group decides to cause mayhem, those people separate themselves from me at this point. We may have *some* of the same political views, but their methods to obtain those goals grew extreme, therefor they are no longer a part of my association.
It's not fair for the people who were NOT involved, no more than Democrats had they been held responsible for the actions of the rioters in inner cities. It's just wrong.
And I get you, you want this country to be a better place, as do we all, my friend. And I commend you for trying. I understand where that comes from, that spark within you. it didn't go unrecognized. :)
@Ghostluck if you saw that and still consider yourself a republican... You condone it. My family weren't there... One calls for the murder of Harris, Pelosi, Biden and his wife murdered
Damn overly sensitive phone. You heard that woman trying to be a a "moderate". I don't think you bought it.
@Ghostluck plus that was reported as self defense. I believe that it was out of self defense due to all the attacks and murders commit it by the maga people: one murdered his own fucking wife and voted for her for Trump: www.google.com/.../story%3fid=77692708 . Another man murdered a family who voted for Trump... The husband survived: www.google.com/.../
Okay, so let's say you convince everyone to stop being Republican, because Republicans are evil and they should all burn in hell or something. So now what? Everyone in America becomes Democrat. How long do you think that will last before people within the Democratic Party start breaking off in to different groups, because they disagree with politics and how extreme it has gotten. Hell, that has already happened to be honest. So even if EVERYONE stopped voting for Republicans, you would still end up with the exact same problem. What you are in essence trying to do, is eliminate the Yin to the Yang. That simply cannot be done. Eventually, something will happen that will balance out the Yang and bring it back in balance with the Yin. So it would honestly do not good to achieve what you are wishing people to do, you would just end up with the same problem and no matter how many times you exert the energy to stamp out any opposing views, they will just continue to spawn out of the ashes of what you would have left over. Left Wingers and Right Wingers are going to have to find a way to get along one way or the other, whether they like it or not.
@Ghostluck I'm no democrat. I merely follow follow the left-wings news and agree with them on many of the issues. currently, though, there isn't many ''left wingers'' who peddle hatred. I'm already aware of the fact that the left will be the right at some point--I already see them playing footsy with the ocean of insanity.
@Ghostluck they were before.
If she knew anything about history she’d know most black people were Republican in the past
Republican party from decades ago isn't the same political party.
People who watch that show are fucked. Mentally ill progressive leftists.
Republican woman, is a VERY big oxymoron
white men, women, gays, blacks, trans--the pecking order of value for that party.
@Sabretooth yep!
And i know why i didn't get mho either
going by the debates that I've seen. did you see the debate Blaire White was in?
@Sabretooth No, what was it?
I agree. It's like being a Jewish Nazi.
That's an extreme comparison.
No it just she Racist
