Do you the recent local election in the United Kingdom show that the UK is likely to break up?

In Northern Ireland the far left and Irish nationalist Sinn Fein party overtook the conservative democratic unionist party to become the biggest party in the Irish assembly.

By overtook I mean they control 27 of the 90 seats in the Irish assembly so not a majority, if they rule it will be in a coalition government; I believe this is the first time this has happened.

If Sinn Fein gets it’s way there is likely to be a referendum on independence from the UK and perhaps one on joining the Irish republic.

The Scottish national party has ran Scotland for years but couldn’t get enough support for independence.
However in Northern Ireland the Brexit issue has been an issue since the Irish republic is a part of the EU but Northern Ireland is part of the UK.
This has caused issues with weather a boarder and travel restrictions will be put in place.
The issue with Northern Ireland is one of the main reasons negations about the UK exit from the EU took so long.
