It's why Labor is putting us back in, if they get elected.
To be fair, Brexit, like voting Trump, was a big fuckup by people who got caught up in a false ideal and hype. Just as we see the reality of Trump, but his "base" choose to follow blindly. So with Brexit, there are still shitlarks who think it a "good" thing.
What they don't realize is that they've fucked up. They've kicked out the Ivan and Pietor's from Poland and Hungary who were building houses, and replaced them with Rajiv and Charan from India, who do fuck all but work menial jobs and lower wages.
Britain should have left the Commonwealth, not the EU.
Why leave the Commonwealth?
I had a dream about a British tiktok rapper failing to lip sync a rap during a huge show. Then people started roasting him for rapping in an American accent. Then he ran out of the event with his team insulting little kids with British slurs. So my point is... Well... I haven't got one. I just wanted to share my dream.
only if we dont grab the opportunities it presents

If it’s realized to full extent. But I doubt it will. Somehow I see Britain retaining trade rights and most other immigration rights its voters hated just to keep its economy going.
Whatever they call it…Brexit 2.0 or Exit the Brexit, doesn’t matter.
Probably. That was the whole point, after all. Russia wanted to end the UK, thereby weakening the west, so they engaged In a psyop to trick British people into going for it. And it worked, so..
No it won't. In fact, it's only a matter of time before France and Germany leave the Union Of European Socialist Republics, formally known as the European Union.
Errr... wrong. Just wrong.
@DryGermanGuy Give it time. It'll happen. The people of France and Germany will eventually get tired of their countries using their tax dollars to bail out and financially support the Mediterranean countries.
If I had a dollar for every "Give it time" prediction... the only (minimally realistic) scenario for Germany and France to leave the EU would be to create a smaller, more cohesive EU 2.0.
@DryGermanGuy Ten years probably, if you're jonesing for a timetable. You're describing semantics, because it'll happen for the reason I laid out, and the results will be the same. You can't have societies working to support other societies that rather be on their beaches all day instead of supporting themselves. Eventually it's unsustainable.
Obviously nobody can predict every political dimension 2,5 election periods away, but I still say no, apart from my unlikely side scenario to get rid of notorious troublemakers like Hungary. The chances are much higher that a) in these ten years the work output of these states rises to the point of being no longer in need of large EU alimony and b) tougher legislation will be in place to protect the borders against economic refugees and keep the tax euros in the generating countries.
@DryGermanGuy Well, at least Hungary has shown a better willingness to financially carry themselves (better than Greece, as an example), even if they do cause Europe problems in other areas.
If your B scenario occurs, it'll be akin to kicking the can down the road, because it doesn't address your A scenario directly, which is likely wishful thinking. The Mediterranean countries, particularly Greece, have never shown any long-term willingness or interest in giving up their welfare funded on the backs of French and German citizens. However I will admit that it'd be nice for Europe as a whole if those A and B scenarios do somehow occur as you described. I just wouldn't bet on that outcome.
My A scenario comes from experience - Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia were piss-poor rundown ex-Communist countries before they joined the EU. They did their homework and came a long way. Greece needed to be threatened with expulsion before they finally understood they needed to privatize and modernize, but they did and we are seeing positive results (access to low-interest bank loans, etc.).
My B scenario is simply repeating what is currently subject of the political debates. Italy, Greece and Spain are running at capacity of what they can handle with regards to refugees and will push for political change, no matter what other member states have to say here. Germany is reluctantly following them, trying to find a certain balance, but since we have our hands full already with Ukraine, the government will agree to law changes.
The UK is already a decaying society.
It’s your own culture that you’ve got to start worrying about.
@WhiteBoyChill. Correct, Brexit is the least of the UK's worries. Pretty soon the UK will be under Sharia law, "voted in lawfully" by woke white women and their simp beta men, all in the effort to not be seen as "racist".
You can vote your way into tyranny but you have to shoot your way out of it... oh, I forgot, all you Brits are allowed to have is spit balls and harsh language. Good luck with that.
Signed,
Your American Cousins.
Kraken said it all and is right. I do think Brexit was the right move for the UK.
@KrakenAttackin Pretty much what the UK and all other white Anglosphere countries do is try to outdo us in wokeness.
@Exterminatore I’m not sure if it was or wasn’t. Broader point I’m trying to make is that what’s destroying the UK is the toxicity of their own culture. Same with the US as well obviously
No, what is going to end the UK are its culture and politics, just like most other western countries.
The UK already ended a long time ago
yeah so will the assassination of the king
Brexit will save it.
