I believe you are Russian and if you are this world has no issues with the people of Russia. We have no respect for Putin doing war against Ukraine who are Russian people. That like black on black, white on white crimes. I love the Russia women so beautiful
Apologies. I found that most Irish & British girls are quite reserved or reluctant when it comes openly pursuing a guy. However I recently met a French girl who was more confident and direct about pursuing a guy she liked. It made me wonder if this is merely just her personality or if women in France are culturally more likely to pursue a guys they like.
I think he was impressed by the plurality of religions in England rather than the predominantly Catholic French church. There are English people who are Francophiles or others who are Russophiles. If interest in and love of another culture is bad I’m guilty of that. I miss Paris and France and was incredibly saddened to see the fire that struck Norte Dame. Absolutely terrible. I really, really hope to make it back to France some day.
English-French relations seem to have always been tumultuous. Whether it was the Norman invasion or the English kings in turn saying they have some weird legal historic right by Royal title to some French territory so they invade it. As an American it’s kind of fascinating to see how these two nations get on with one another through the centuries. Even today it seems there is this kind of friendly-rivalry. Well sort of friendly lol.

I ask because my cousin was in France once and told me that people there don't speak English and expect you to speak French.(so it was hard to communicate).
I do not know why. I just know that the level of French people in English is catastrophic (I am one of those French people). Consequently, French people who will be able to communicate with you in English will be really rare, apart from rare occasions in big cities.

Americans and most of other nations here are normal for me. Some are nice, some are neutral and some are pricks. When it comes to England 80 or 90% of people I met here were very arrogant and "know-it-all". Couldn't stand someone can have a different opinion.

I care about French history and culture. The French were America’s first ally. They are a damn fine people as far as I’m concerned. Sure, they had some losses, but so did lots of countries in Europe.
Nothing is ever free because it is paid for by taxes. But yes. If I fall ill I can get treatment without worrying about the money, and dental care, for example, is 100 percent reimbursed.
