If you want to participate in an event, be it of any kind, where do you go in search of it or what do you use to get info on such events?

I go out and speak here and there.

I go on websites to get to know the events in my locality.

I don't go to any events without invitation.

I don't attend any events.

I have lived in the same town for 67 years. I know what happens and where it happens, and I also know sources to keep me apprised of events. There are four sites that I peruse for concerts scheduled in my part of Florida and one local newsaper that keeps a good compilation of events around town.

I do a bit of option 1 and 2, mostly 2.

I'm a member of a few groups in my city, and go to MeetUp occasionally to find other groups of interest, and I ask around with friends for events.

But I generally don't go too often. They're usually pricey, and I'm more a "small gathering of friends" person than a big crowd person.

I'm naturally a bit of an introvert, but COVID has really taught me the importance of good social contact with people and communities I want to be part of.

It's worth the effort at the end of it, I've found.
