There’s no solution, unless we can locate and destroy every gun in existence, any blueprints on how to make them, and then do that Men In Black memory-eraser thing on everyone alive so we forget such a concept even existed. As long as people are too afraid to knuckle up and possibly come out on the losing end of it, pussies will turn to weaponry of all sorts in an attempt to defeat naturally stronger beings than them that are more fit for survival. Accept that some people are screwed up and will carry out such actions. Be it with the guns they get in the legal market or the ones they obtain in the illegal market. Also learn to accept that for a variety of reasons there will always be screwed up people in the world that will carry out mass killings. Be it with a gun or plowing down a busy sidewalk with a car or a mass stabbing with a knife or anything else that is sharp.

There is no easy solution but I definitely believe annual psychiatric evaluation from childhood onward would teach us a lot about what’s really going on.

Long term? Better availability of mental health services, and an end to the stigma around them. Short term? Better enforcement of mental health protection orders. It's very rare for mass shootings to be a first offense, and almost nonexistent for them to be a first sign of danger.

There is no easy solution, but taking away the Second Amendment is not an acceptable one. People who think doing so would take guns out of the hands of criminals are fools. We are not like Australia, which is surrounded by water making it easy to keep guns out. America is bordered on the south by Mexico, and there is literally nothing smugglers can't get into the country with relative ease.

Did you know that Ukraine is the only country in Europe where firearms are not regulated by statute? Do you think the fact that Ukrainian citizens were armed is seen as a bad thing now?

Brutally roast these shooters. Just ruthlessly mock them day and night, have the TV anchors laugh at them and call them names. Mispronounce their names, make fun of their faces, make then wear clown makeup and dance.

Then torture them on live TV or feed them to zoo animals or sharks at the aquarium. Crush them with steamrollers, throw them out of helicopters and stuff.

People who are crazy need to be committed. Just about every mass shooting is done by somebody who has showed up on the police or FBI radar. Nobody did anything about it.

Agree. There’s a lot going on mentally. However, we then run into questions about what defines “crazy” and what defines someone as being a potential threat. I believe there are so many people walking around who aren’t mentally well, but they’ll go their whole lives being untreated and undiagnosed.
