How can we end mass shootings?

It seems that most mass shootings are done by the mental ill. I know in TX prisons hold many of them. This State shut down the State mentally ill home. So can we get some thoughts around the world then maybe someone out there has an answer. My thought is band guns selling in public. Band no one under 21 can buy. What are your thoughts?

To answer this question I look at other countries like Japan that is very unlikely to have more than 10 deaths a year from guns they have such a low number because they have a multitude of gun laws some some of which I think goes to far but is never the less effective in keeping the number of deaths low, the gun law I think goes to far is they ban anything that isn't a shot gun, a bb gun maybe the have pistol but I'm not sure. The things I do agree with are they force you to do a heavy background check, you must show that u can actually use your weapon effectively like a driver license shoes u can drive effectively and they have a few other tests other using the weapon. Of course this is only 1 way we can lower the numbers other ways include giving the people healthcare so they can afford to get their mental state checked out and cured if needed plus not worried about getting sick would be a big weight off our shoulders which has gotta be good for the stress of the people, put more effort into education as smarter people commit less acts of violence and pay people a living wage so they aren't forced to go to a life of crime to make ends meat

None of this can be fix with some idiotic quick fix or just making shit illegal.

In reality, bringing back nuclear families would help things. Being tough on crime would help. Bringing back asylums would help. Getting rid of 'gun free' zones would help. Having a society that has any semblance of morals would help.

And, at a certain point, you're gonna have to realize that tragedies will still happen. When 9/11 happened we didn't just blame an inanimate object like planes or skyscrapers, we upped (armed) security to prevent people boarding planes, we created a whole bunch of procedures in case lunatics are already on the plane and we realized that is as good as you're ever gonna get.

Have only ONE entrance to schools, and have metal detectors and a cop searching people coming in. Democrats will never do this, because school shootings help them with their cause.
