I was pissed at him for doing that, too, and for the other cops around him not stopping him, when I first heard about it but, as usual, the HIGHLY biased media never showed or told us about the ENTIRE incident!! They never seemed to mention the part about how he'd just robbed a store, probably at gunpoint, and was already dying from the overdose of a few drugs he'd recently taken or how he was already yelling that he couldn't breathe before the cops even TOUCHED HIM! But, Derek didn't kill him!!

The drugs did!! Fentanyl is NOTHING to fuck around with!! It's already killed thousands of people in just the past couple years!! A very good friend of mine died from it 16 years ago by an accidental OD! She was only using to get rid of the pain from her fractured neck, went to sleep and never woke up!! I was on my way to see her when I saw them carry her out of her house in a body bag!! She was only 38 and left behind an 8 year old boy and 17 year old girl.

Show me where it states this is procedure? I’ve never heard of this being a legalised method of retaining someone ever. Putting him on the floor I can believe, but the knee of a man supporting his entire body weight over someone’s neck, to withhold them. Never ever heard of that. Sad thing is that the guy was obeying every order, no need to retain a complying man.

Where did you EVER read that he put ALL his body weight on his neck? That's would've broken his neck almost instantly!! For once, you're right! I've never heard of anyone doing that, either!
If he was obeying, why was out of the car? The police show up, he starts saying he can't breathe because of the massive amount of drugs he was on, they get him and put him in the car, instead of sitting on the seat, he hits the floor and goes out the other door and THAT'S when they RESTRAINED him. The DRUGS killed him!! Derek just happened to be in a bad position, at the time.

Literally everyone I know in Ohio has a bad story about cops. It is very dependent on where you are but in most areas cops are not to be trusted.
