Why do people think it's wrong to be a conservative?

Because it is? It's the wanting to go back to the past but nothing about the past was better. You say make America great again but what was great about America in the past? the slave trade? the culling of Native Americans? the fact women couldn't own property nor vote and would be forced to live with a man just to get by often been put into abuse control? Worse healthcare? Church dictating what's socially okay? And that's just a few examples.
Unless your telling me people living in 1940s or 1800s were better off than now? it's just the 100% wrong way factually to think.

All conservatives ideology's head one way that's to the past, old morals, old laws, trying to conserve laws that have been changed for the better. The past wasn't this perfect picture and is factually worse than today in billions of ways.

Because of the 24/7 media blitz against all things conservative by the almost exclusively leftist mainstream media. Because of the heavily leftist entertainment industry. Because of social harassment and shaming campaigns by the few but vocal leftist activists. Because of the social destruction of young people who express conservative views. Because of corporate cancel culture.

My problem isn't so much with the conservative views, but more so with the choice of republican candidates. So i will not vote for them and i surely won’t vote for the democratic candidates either. I’ll stick to my random 3rd parties who actually meet my mix of conservative and liberal views

Liberals entertain some pretty awful ideas. Letting criminals run loose, opening up our border, ending energy production etc. . These policies have negative consequences and they really have no solutions to the problems they have caused . Instead, the only move they have is to criticize conservatives for being racist, homophobic etc,
