Protesting doesn't do any good. Besides, what do you expect the government to do? It's not like they have a magic wand they can wave and magically make unemployment go down. There are a lot of experts out there doing what they can, but it's not a simple process and never has been.
The only time protesting does any good is if they are very widespread and sustained. I've been to several protests, including in DC. There are so many protests in DC that the politicians don't even pay attention. It's just normal background noise.
You protest unemployment by starting your own business and creating your own work. When you stop offering your skills to large companies to profit off of, you are doing something significant. Obviously they can't provide you with a job, so you shouldn't provide them with a profit. What are you a serf? Time to get off of the plantation. Stop screaming at master to give you food and be your own man.

Yes, I have been unemployed for 2 years and my benefits have run out 8 months ago. I ahav been on lots of interviews and have one next week but so far no job.

Yea I also wonder why no one here protests against gas prizes, extreme housing prices, inflation? A few month ago every f*** protested against masks and now nothing? People are so fake
Protesting won't help if businesses have no incentive to hire anybody. If business sucks then there's no reason to do so.
