When will Americans rise up and demand fair wages?

A better question is when will people stop falling for a certain political parties talking points and realize that they should be demanding for government to create a situation that allows more jobs that pay more rather than increasing minimum wages.
Government increases minimum wage is followed by price increases of places that now have to pay more for labor or in some cases hour cut backs from places (fast food is an example) that can't just raise prices due to customers who will not pay more.
Even if you make twice as much as you are now, how dose that help if you bills go up 150%? Then they will just come out with the same old argument again, only next they will be telling you that $25 an hour need to be the minimum and a lot of good sheeple will still fall right in line.
I remember my parents talking about the last minimum wage increase. It was followed by prices going up and layoffs, as this one will be.
When will we demand government make things better for higher paying jobs to stay here? When will people say If they want to make more they should try to move up to a job that pays more rather than demand minimum wages go up to force places to pay more for jobs that require less work?
Oh and by the way, some of the reasons that party always pushes wage increases, you make more they take more in taxes. And they thrive on keeping us divided against each other, and class warfare is a sure way to do it. As long as they have us shouting about the rich business that isn't paying it's fair share, we are ignoring all the money they are pocketing just to sit in Washington and do almost nothing to actually help us. And by the way, business never actually pay more in taxes, they either fold or pass all their cost on to the consumer in (again) higher prices or less services. (Less quantity of an item in a pack for the same or more.)
Well, I guess it only took being here a few weeks to start quoting my father. I will get off my soap box now. And I'm not saying a certain former President has all the answers like some will. Just that the party pushing all this pushed it before and it has never worked then and it's not going to now. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
The wealthy Elite did a good job of educating you because you now reiterate their arguments ad infinitum.
Aren't they doing that? Minimum wage has been increased in many locations. There's a general labor shortage, so wages have been rising due to market pressure.
Yes, finally. But prices are rising too.
Never.
Most of worker class got slave mind. When I hear an employee emphases my/our corporation/company... I have always desire to ask how much first release shares the person owns and how much money the person gets from dividends every year. It's even worse when some guys brag about their firm car they can drive and identify with their employers as equals. What is of course an illusion. Some people get cognitive dissonance when someone says "I work for the money not for they job's sake". This is true slave spirit.

It's too late.

A few months after Trump is inaugurated. The USA will severely reduce our dependence on Chinese consumer goods and (not a bigoted statement) Blacks and Legal Latinos will begin making toasters and electric fans in red states.
Have you told the Blacks and Latinos yet?
just like last time, right?
@OtterMan68 Just like this time.
so you're saying nothing has changed from Trump to Biden, but Trump will be different if he gets in a again?
@OtterMan68 "so you're saying nothing has changed from Trump to Biden?" No, I'm not. "but Trump will be different if he gets in a again?" Yes, I am.
and why do you think Trump will be different? His mind is sharper? His ego is smaller? He won't surround himself with yes men and can them the moment they dare disagree?
@OtterMan68
"and why do you think Trump will be different?" He has time to plan and better people to plan with.
"He won't surround himself with yes men and can them the moment they dare disagree?" He has time to plan and better people to plan with.
Trump has NOT changed. He still lavishes praise on people who suck up to him and insults anyone who does not.. He's the same person he was in 2016. He's still lying "I brought the troops home!"
He's the same guy who promised Mexico would pay for the wall, and he'd balance the budget.
@OtterMan68 As you wish. Opinions are like anuses. We all have them.
When you are offered a job they give you the salary. If you accept you agree the salary is fair. You’re paid a fair wage.
Or you could refuse and get nothing.
Exactly. So you must think a job you accept is a fair wage.
They did, many times. The problem is they are too economically illiterate to realize that simply raising the wage will only make the issue of poverty worse.
The dollars purchasing power will plummet within the decade so many Americans will be wishing they even had a wage
Do you mean the ones who aren't already hopelessly indebted?
Why? Other than some being way too high, what's wrong with them?
Nothing is stopping them now.
There is no law that says you can't ask your employer for a raise.
Yes please what’s $12 an hour it sucks
I don't know but the should now
