On TV and on the internet they like tough talk, criticizing women to feel superior over them and to appear as these macho men alpha type males with guns, but they just proved a few days ago how Texas conservative men as cops with a gun in hand how much of what cowards they are as they stayed outside of a school for over an 1 hour scared of a 18 year old with a gun and to rescue little kids. 🙄

Here in the UK we don't divide men according to political affiliation, so I'm not even sure who these "conservative men" are that you're referring to. I can usually tell false bravado from a a mile away, but I see it in men of all political affiliations.

I think the root cause of what you describe here is the (in many U. S. states) notoriously bad training for law enforcement officers. I've read that in some jurisdictions a few weeks of training qualifies someone for a sheriff's deputy. In Germany you have three years of basic training to qualify, then on top 12-24 months of specialized training for your specific field of police work.

I really don't see a causal connection here... most conservative people I know are reserved and quiet and keep their conservatism to themselves unless explicitly asked about certain topics.
Could it not be that Americans in general and Texans in particular are loud and boastful, so they also would announce their opinions about what they think is being conservative?

I think there are all kids of people and painting everyone wit the same brush is never a good idea. Last summer when BLM members would harass somebody they only picked on women or elderly people. I would not assume all of them were cowards.
