Why does anyone let people surrounded by walls and guns tell them they can’t have a wall or a gun?

I don’t mean to insult anyone’s intelligence or logic or reasoning capabilities, but I don’t know what other neurological deficits could be at fault here. It boggles the mind how many gullible suckers swallow this garbage from people they look up to.

I mean.. its a pretty rubbish argument. First of all, just because someone has something does not mean you should have it as well or even if you need it or not. For example, just because someone has a helicopter does not mean giving me a helicopter is a good idea, especially if I dont have the training or qualifications for it nor would it help me since I have no need for anything a helicopter could provide me.

Guns are a perfect example of something that is useless or even arguably dangerous to yourself in your own hands but in the hands of a professional can be used effectively to protect others. The answer here is not as simple as "A gun" but employing a trained professional with said gun to actually have a positive effect.

I honestly can't wrap my head around why Americans got this delusional beliefs about the inherent safety granted by firearms and walls. It makes no logical sense and feels like the logic a 10 year old would give.
