How do people get into a life of crime?

how horrible would that life be? a constant danger to yourself and society.

I think for many people (Not all) it stems from growing up poor, and not really having the funds to function in a society where you need money to do everything.
You even need money to sit still because everyone from insurance companies, the banks, your landlords etc. have got their hands in your pocket at all times.
Sometimes I think some people are criminals just to get by and to feed their kids.
Others might have addictions to feed, or just very few options.
I don't believe that most criminals wanted to be criminals, they just grew up at a disadvantage.
I never had a lot of money and occasionally I feel the stress and uncertainty. Sometimes I can see how some people get desperate enough to commit crimes.

right nurture vs nature. but not everyone is raised in that world. some people are just bad and they do it cause its fun.

That's true.
I have been around some guys who have money, but they still went around stealing stuff just because they're selfish assholes with no respect for others.
