In the 1800s every home had several guns. It was a hard ruff life back in those days lots of fights. Kids grew up knowing about and how to shoot. I do not know of any incidents such as we have today. I believe that its because of two major things #1 family #2 education

Yes I have a friend who owns a gun store. Both local and feds get the application and both can and have delayed or even prevented someone based purely on a incident or past and even current. Such as a man tried to buy a gun after his wife died in a car accident. He was a perfect citizen! The police knew this and sent a medical team to evaluate him. He admitted being suicidal. He never got the gun and instead got life saving help!

I am NOT for most of what they want to change. I AM for educating. I feel our problem today is the family unit has been destroyed and we are being put under sever distress unnecessarily by our government. The icing on the cake is the complete failure to help those that are begging for help!

The demise of the American family is the number one issue that affects all other issues.
Absent dads, baby -daddies, welfare families, no discipline in the home, permissive parents, school boards brainwashing kids and parents don't care... are just some examples.
